I guess people would think that Charizard is fairly disposable due to the whole Red situation.

I don't know who Takamaru is either. So I searched up "Takamaru" on Images, and I got this weird bird from Naruto...

yes all 17 of them. just like the amount of people who would buy smash 4 obviously on that system.

i aint gonna start a fight. just saying that seeing as this game is coming to the Wii U, and a lot of the Wii U's are sold with Nintendo Land, it's fair to say people are smart enough to connect the dots

How about Toad? He could use mushrooms.

Poison Mushroom = shrinks opponents
Reverse Mushroom = scrambles opponents' directions
Slow Mushroom = based on Slow 'Shroom Orb in Mario Party 6, slows opponents down (similar to Timer's effects)
Volt Mushroom = based on Volt Shroom from Paper Mario, shocks opponents

If that's the case... then surely people would at least recognize Takamaru's clothes, sword, and hairstyle from Nintendo Land even if they didn't know who is Takamaru when he shows up in SSB4... right? Right?

The difference is Fire Emblem games have been coming out all these years, while Takamaru hasn't had a real game since the NES

Two more months. I am really excited about SSB4 at E3... I hope the trailer is something epic! As for the newcomers, I expect to see:

- at least one Mario newcomer (Toad, please)
- at least one Donkey Kong newcomer (either King K. Rool or Dixie Kong)
- at least one Zelda newcomer (could be Toon Zelda, could be Impa, could be Ghirahim, who knows?)
- at least one Pokemon newcomer besides Mewtwo (could be Zoroark, could be Pokemon Trainer Gold, could even be Meowth, who knows?)
- at least one Fire Emblem newcomer (Chrom, please)
- at least one Kid Icarus newcomer (Palutena or Medusa or even Magnus, please no Dark Pit)
- at least one retro newcomer (pretty certain it's Takamaru)
- Mii (pretty sure they are getting in this time)
- Little Mac (yes, I am very confident he will get in Smash this time)
- at least one third-party newcomer (Mega Man or Pac-Man, please)

- 1 Donkey Kong Newcomer (Dixie or K. Rool)
- 1 Pokemon Newcomer (Mewtwo counting as a "newcomer")
- Ridley (No other Metroid character seems that likely)
- 1 Fire Emblem Newcomer (Chrom, Roy, Lyn, someone)
- 1 Kid Icarus Newcomer (Palutena or Medusa)
- Little Mac
- Second Smaller Fanchise Newcomer (Shulk, Isaac, Saki)
- 1 Retro Newcomer

- 4 - 7 more newcomers
