In other news, I'd be disappointed if there were no references to Captain N if we got Mega Man and the Kid Icarus Smash Taunt. Seriously, that is an opportunity that shouldn't be missed.
I don't get the Captain N hype or that it
has to be represented. It was only launched in the US, not worldwide.
Japan pretty much has the only 'right' for culture references in Smash. We get spoiled with American brainwash every where in the world, why can't Smash stay 'clean' from this?
That being said, Mega Man in general is / was an extremely US based marketed character. And also mostly Americans want him. Though the Japanese like him to I've seen? Can't deny that the US and Japan are the most marketed at areas either, but still, I'm mostly indifferent to Mega Man for Smash.
Same with Pac Man, but I'd consider his inclusion far more logical than Mega Man's. And yes, this is mostly to his arcade fame. I could care less about modern day Pac Man.
But really, both would be 'sorta' retro additions anyways... Just 3rd party ones.
