What exactly is there so fundamentally hate-able about a game as great as Xenoblade and its fairly standard protagonist? I mean, you don't have to love it, but why the hate?

Toon Link is probably not going anywhere. Shulk just got hinted at in the in the, likely, Xenoblade sequel. For all the haters that said Xenoblade didn't count as a series (not that it mattered anyways) can be quiet now.

1. As the biggest Toon Link fan, I am happy. Now Toon Link can look even more HD-ready, and have an easy model to import into Smash WiiU.
2. Hopefully this Wind Waker HD remake will add difficulty levels (EXTREME ZELDA FTW!), more islands to quick travel to, actually have challenging enemies on the Great Sea, have more stuff to explore, and have more side quests.
3. I was on the Shulk hype train before; now, I'm full on, 100% into it.

EDIT: Crap, Sakurai just said on Twitter he's going to up Brawl's trailer this E3!

How is that possible=??? 6 newcomers, 1 being more random than Snake is pretty hard to do! Oh, well, I'LL TAKE IT, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!

I seriously can't believe this Nintendo Direct delivered. I just watched a part of it, and I just crapped my pants. Now if you excuse me...

oh word? that's cool! im glad you have a preference for a leprechaun gremlin scrub over Shulk, a character who is actually worthy of a spot in fighting amongst characters in smash. And yeah, I don't like the way tingle looks, you're right!. I guess people here take my opinion on Tingle too seriously. but good im glad they do. But it's just really funny you like Tingle over Shulk. but hey, to each their own

If this trailer tops Brawl's trailer (which I deemed the greatest video game trailer of all-time, hands down [followed by the Sonic trailer]), we're going to have our minds blown, whether we get it at E3 2013 or in November. Also, I can't wait to see SMASH BROS JUMP TWO GENERATIONS GRAPHICALLY!

Fun fact: With Yoshi Wii U being released now that leaves F-Zero as the only franchise without a new title since Brawl. Star Fox had Star Fox 64 3D, MOTHER is complete, and the retro franchises are pretty self-explanatory.

Final thing shown at E3 :Super HD 1080p F-Zero with Captain Falcon in a full on hardcore nipple suit that tops everything else he wore before it!

At least we'll be getting screens/previews!

All I want is for the islands to be closer to each other and to get a sail upgrade to speed up the sailing. That's the least they can do because I know they wouldn't bother putting in a new Tingle Tower dungeon after we collect the golden statues via the Game Pad (Tinge Tuner) - and you get to play as Tingle to help you clear the dungeon.

I think his Final Smash should be a counter move that's the exact same as his finishing blow on Ganondorf. I'm still amazed that game got an E rating with that in.

The E+10 rating didn't exist at that time. It wouldn't really matter since he stabbed the jewel on his head.

Well, that would have required the ESRB to play the whole game.

It may get updated for the HD remake. Especially since the ending is well known. Also, the fact Toon Ganondorf throws around a little kid is a bit ridiculous. That's enough for E10+, imo.

The worst OOT!Ganondorf did was fire a quick ball to knock Young Link out. This guy choked Toon Link.

Yeah, Toon Ganondorf is badass.

Anyway, since we're getting a trailer, my hopes are MegaMan, Ridley, a new Mario(or loosely related, DK discluded) character, Dixie or K. Rool, and Shulk/Isaac.

That sounds pretty realistic, though I think they would reveal Power Suit Samus sooner. Though, I think they would show Ridley instead of Little Mac. Just revealing him would cause the entire audience to come hard.

Nah, you want to make them beg for more... tease them... show Ridley in the trailer... kinda like the Melee intro... but not confirm nor disconfirm him.
