Smash Hero
No major nerfs to Rosalina good to hear about that. Now will just have to see how much the hp nerf hurts.

You can turn it off in the controls page. I'm doubting there's any tactical merit to leaving it on, so any problems with it shouldn't be that big of a deal.do note that the a+b =smash can be dangerous
I had a lumaspin set up and were going to recover while holding a, which meant i just falled with fair/upair due to that new mechanic.
This is most noticeable with Shulk while he's using his Buster stance Monado Art.Anyone else notice that the drop in hp has actually made a big difference? I didn't think it would but I've noticed that Luma dies from no hp a lot lately.
It's really, really, useless... why don't they make C stick as an option too for the New 3DS?The new B+Y = Smash option in Smash 3DS is quite lackluster, since whenever I try it, I either do a standard attack or a special attack, and very rarely do I even perform a smash attack.
Good to know prob will be my standard to turn it off then, theres a small advantage it seems to have it on though which is that pivotsmashing is a little bit easier with a+b .You can turn it off in the controls page. Piviotsmashing with A+B? I thought piviotsmash requires C stick.Good to know prob will be my standard to turn it off then, theres a small advantage it seems to have it on though which is that pivotsmashing is a little bit easier with a+b .
We didn't really have bad match ups before. This update simply made the closest characters to us even worse. The Luma had a maximum of 52 HP, so if it does have less HP now, that could be troubling.
Go try it out!Haven't tested A+B myself. Since I have my second stick set to tilts, it would probably be helpful for me. I get back to you guys on that,
Perhaps that's her old nerf. Her up air knock back did got reduced. It really feels like her up air has reduced knock back. I had to get kirby up to 90% in training before I'd get a consistent u-air off the top. Heavier characters I had to go to like 130-140ish, as well. Are we sure her up air isn't stuck with reduced knock back?
Me too. A+B Smash isn't a good move for me.Eh... Found out the hard way that with A+B Smash enabled, you can't launch star with the desynched Luma Spin. That's probably the nail in the coffin for keeping that option enabled for me. Unless some crazier A+B smash Luma tech pops up, I think I'll keep my control scheme how it was prepatch.
I'll play around with it one day in practice mode. My gut is telling me there's some whacky way to manipulate Luma with the option, and I really want to find it. Imagine being able to jab with Rosa while charging a smash with Luma... would be pretty useful.Me too. A+B Smash isn't a good move for me.
Is it possible to do two different moves at the same time with A+B Smash when using Rosalina & Luma? I doubt it, wouldn't it be either you just jab or do neutral special if you fail to press at the same time? When you successfully do A+B Smash, you just... Smash, like usual.I'll play around with it one day in practice mode. My gut is telling me there's some whacky way to manipulate Luma with the option, and I really want to find it. Imagine being able to jab with Rosa while charging a smash with Luma... would be pretty useful.
Man I tried but I didn't really find anything. You'd think it'd be an exploit with Rosalina but I couldn't find anything.I'll play around with it one day in practice mode. There's really no point of using that feature when you can just use the right Control Stick or C-Stick to perform your smash attacks. Older 3DS models may have a problem when you have a sensitive Circle Pad though.Eh... Found out the hard way that with A+B Smash enabled, you can't launch star with the desynched Luma Spin. True, true, and I somehow feel that the new update made the 3DS version's input a bit sensitive now. There's really no point of using that feature when you can just use the right Control Stick or C-Stick to perform your smash attacks. it's still possible, there's a small window where you can let go of A and do something else, then return back to holding A for the spin to continue.Eh... Yeah, I figured that would be the case, but the last thing I'd want to do is give myself another opportunity to mess up while recovering with launch star.it's still possible, there's a small window where you can let go of A and do something else, then return back to holding A for the spin to continue.
