ye it'll still run fine, i'll be there for doubles this time finally, which is really good now that you cant make itso i might not (read: probably will not) be able to make this monthly lol
mike you can make doubles this time, right? you might be on your own =(
i'll think about the stages for a bit and take input from others, but i would likely lean towards MLG but also at the same time I don't want to change the list we have now much. Post here or PM me if you have any suggestions and please give reasoning if you say we should/shouldn't have a certain stage don't just say "This stage is gay, take it off"i'm gonna leave stages up to mike. i would really like to see MLG stagelist + yoshi's pipes though...i think that's fair compromise?
i suck at starcraft =P btw jamie, you should watch the replay of our match. watch the build order i use - if you can copy it that's a good start
Agreed.:hunger:i think PC should be on there but not norfair and luigis
i think PC should be on there but not norfair and luigis
guys, as I said before i'm not going to listen to any suggestion without support. I do already have somewhat of an idea of what i'm going to change though (not too much).picto chat is a Cp for sure >_> Same with pipes. And norfair. And luigis >_>
Which would mean:Alternate approach to Starter Stages:
Be it big or small, as stage transformations always include a positional advantage and luck factor, this can be considered Counter-pick Stage criteria (as in considering "Lack of stage transformations" a Starter Stage characteristic), moving Pokémon Stadium (Melee) and Pokémon Stadium 2 into Counter-pick Stages. In fact, all of Pokémon Stadium 2's transformations cause large positional advantages, and specially in case both characters lack projectiles, stalemates.
is PS2 random?how many characters absolutely **** on PS2? how many character absolutely **** on FD? now, how many characters get completely screwed over by the stage, keeping in mind that electric and flying transformations offer players the ability to get through them with minimal conflict?
oh no "game changing transformations". sounds like a tyler argument
btw, jungle japes should be on my list too... i forgot MLG banned it. i'll edit it in
is PS2 random?
if so, it does have game changing transformations >.<
lets say snake is at 20%, and MK is at 110%
if the stage stayed normal, Snake would most likely take the kill (loluptilt)
if the air transformation comes, and MK gets an up air, MK can juggle snake to the top and then tornado or whatever
because of the random (again, not sure if its random) transformation, MK has evened the score when otherwise snake would still have the advantage
MK could do that whether it was wind or not, but its harder to get out of that situation during the wind phase, so the random stage change gave MK the lead
and poor ganon D:
fix'd ddEdit: You can also move Yoshi's to CPs and not use stage-striking cause Lylat Cruise is too cool for school.
