I'd really like to get a list of people who are interested in Sun Rise. I'm thinking we should leave Aug 3rd and come back on the 17th. It would give us a week to get over jet lag and it lets us tour Japan. The sooner we get confirmed people the better so we can actually get cheap tickets this time. I'm pretty much confirmed if I can get 2 other people to go.

I won't be able to confirm until june/july, I might be moving to calgary or saskatoon come september, and if so I can't afford to spare the money to go to Japan again

Consider me one of the most likely to go. I'm just prioritizing my trips because there's a LOT of them I'll have to make to make all of this happen. WHOBO 4, personal trip to Shanghai for friends, and then Sun Rise.

I have to pass on China for another year if I go, my work wont let me take off the time =/ I'm thinking about quiting and getting a better paying job when I get back.

I make $11 an hour with an incentive program that ends up to about $15-ish an hour if I'm quick and an extra $25 every two weeks if I don't make any errors.

three years ago i worked at quiznos and i got minimum wage for doing everything, including cashier =x

At least your minimum wage is pretty good... it took BC two minimum wage increases to reach only $0.10 above yours.

Back when I used to work at A&W night/closing, I'd be in charge of drive thru, cashier, food, and cleaning for $8/hour. The supervisor would come help if it was really busy otherwise he'd be in the office playing Monster Hunter on his PSP :x

I work at a warehouse where I do picking (finding the item) and shipping (packing). I have a quota of 450 items per shift that I have to meet and I make $0.25 for every item over that. I made 567 lines today and have been error free for the past two weeks

Are you thinking about doing one of those Chinese camps? I hear they're amazing and boost your Chinese skills by a LONG shot. I think you'd really enjoy the experience.

Don't get pushed around like this. "No proper time," is clearly an excuse, and a pretty transparent one at that. If they say that to you again you should definitely assert yourself and push for a scheduled time, or quit. It sounds like you work a ton, so you should definitely be making more than Kyle.

I'm in the technology department. Been close to a year now, so yeah I'm gonna be talking to them about that. Upside is that I get paid additional from the time I was SUPPOSED to get the raise, which was at the 6 month mark.
