I wanna see if I can put away all my doubts (and possible misconceptions) about this tournament real quick.

Am I reading this wrong, or is it 45 to pay for everything? (10 singles, 10 doubles, 25 venue)

That seems reasonable for a large-scale tournament such as SF/Marvel/Brawl, but melee is basically gonna be the size of a local. In fact, with prices like that, I'd be surprised if we even broke 20-25 entrants.

Can we just pay the spectator fee and enter melee at the venue?

If we just enter melee singles we're looking at $35 for a group of 12 entrants. Thats $120 total prize pool with first place taking home $60. Stabbed has a point.

Here are the bracket pools for ReveLAtions 2012.*

Every set in the bracket pool will be best 2/3. *The player who wins Winners Finals will achieve first seed as Grand Finals will not be played out.

The "Placeholder" position in the bracket is for entrants who register at the door. If the spot is not filled it will be replaced with a "Bye."

The top three players of each Bracket Pool will advance to the pro bracket.

The schedule is being pushed back a bit due to an internal issue.

The venue will be opening at 6:00PM 8/17/12 (Friday). The Brawl Side Event will begin at 7:00PM.

The venue will open at 10:00AM both Saturday and Sunday.

The smash schedule is as follows:

Friday
6:00 PM - Venue opens/Early registration/Free Play begins/Side Event Registration
7:00 PM - Side Event Begins

Saturday
10:00AM - 11:00 AM - Roll Call
~12:00 PM - Bracket Pools Begin
