removing the rumble pak from the gc controller

Can I just like cut it off (as in the wires) or will that **** my controller up? I hate the rumble and Im tired off turning off

You can just take it out, or if you're not cool with the weight difference you can just cut the wires. It won't screw your controller up.

I heard a rumor that when you get hit your controller will stop rumbling when you are out of hitstun. Any confirmation?

Just snip the wire. I left the rumble pack in mine so that the weight stayed the same, but you could also take it out if you wanted to.

If you want to re-attach it later with no hassle, just unsolder it.

Or take your friends' controllers apart when they aren't looking and replace their rumble motors with speakers/buzzers. Extra points if they're Ganon players, then even walking turns into "BZZ...BZZ...BZZ...BZZ"

you can just rip it out. obviously, to be smoother you can cut the wires. you won't mess anything up.

on a side note, the GC controller is far more durable than i originally thought. it can take a lot more damage than you'd think. it's also ridiculously easy to modify, once you have the 3-wing.
