1 overnight?
Ugh gtfo. >_>
That's like -2 where I live.
Have fun Tibs/Leish/Bryan. :D
Be sure to bring warm clothes.

Edit: And Rob Huggles.
Also I read the schedule, Smash Bros FFA Brawl had BETTER be ran first like it says because we've been assuming that for months and that's when I'm picking someone up from the airport (and nobody from here will probably care about FFA, just Melee Teams/Brawl Teams and Singles for both games.
So since it's in the console area and shouldn't hold anything up, Jamage can you please ensure that nothing smash wise that earns you $$$ will start until 10:30am at least.
That way I can make sure all of the people from out of state can make it and everything will run smoothly.

As I said, the people on Smashboards won't care about the FFA, so please run that BEFORE the smash events worth $$$.
And if need be (if someones flight is delayed, pleeeeeease wait until I get there because I'll have a car full of people soley for competitive smash.

Also it's 0c atm. I am quite cold making this post so I'm going to go sit in a heater.

Edit 2: Jamage we need to exchange mobile numbers or somethin'.
You still want help co-hosting the tourney right?
I've definitely got the Brawl side sorted, even without pools, I can seed given how much I travel I know everyones skill level.

Edit 3: And wtf is "Brawl Dual"? Is that singles?
Imo doubles should always be ran before singles, but I said that last time and nobody listened.

A better Schedule for Smash would be:

1 - Brawl FFA (novelty)
2 - Brawl Doubles ($)
3 - Melee Singles (Prize)
4 - Brawl Singles ($$$)

It wouldn't be hard to change.

Edit 4: Not only does it match prizes and hype (largest prize for last event) but it also fits in with EVERY other Smash Scene in Australia (and most worldwide).

Please take my issues into consideration, I'm not just speaking for myself, but anyone who plays smash competitively.

Edit 5: Ok I'm done.
Do not ignore my simple and logical requests given the time Reloaded has (a LOT) or I'll throw a serious gay hissy fit.

I've PM'd Jamage with my idea of how things should be run.
Which still remains the FFA (which is casual) ran first, then doubles starts at about 11, lunch, then Melee singles then Brawl singles.
I'll help with seeding Brawl wise.
Ηψρξ!

Yeah Nova should sort out the seedings, and decide whether we have pools.

Ok.
I don't mean to be blunt here.
But OoSers NEED information.

What is the minimum amount of MONEY NOT PERCENTAGE that first in Brawl SINGLES will win?

Exact amount EXCLUDING the possible extra fee for increasing the pot would be appreciated.
This information needs to be made public, it's preventing top level players from attennding.

IN OTHER WORDS:
How much of the default $500 is dedicated to Brawl singles.

I really do need a quick answer on this.
Brawl singles SHOULD be allocated more of the $500 than doubles.

So if someone wins Brawl singles, can they be GUARANTEED a MINIMUM win of $200.

I NEED this information to recruit more OoS players.
Yes you've revealed %'s and such.
But 4th and 5th shouldn't win any money.
It should be:

1 = 70% (of $350 = $245, a perfect first prize)
2 = 20%
3 = 10%

Also I think Brawl's pot of $500 should be split like this:

Singles = $350 (70% first, 20% second, 10% 3rd)
Doubles = $150 (same deal)

I will personally volunteer to sort all this out if someone allows me, but AT PRESENT there is NO information over how the $500 is split and 4th and 5th should definitely NOT win ANY prize money.

Ok I'm finished.
I NEED a quick response or I swear to god I'll start kicking people in the balls.
This is, AGAIN, effecting OoS attendance.

We need someone that posts here frequently to run the tournament.
Jamage I sent a PM I need an answer to that as well.

Edit: If I don't get a response in 24 hours I'll contact Wookie directly.
I don't mean to sound so angry, but these things need to be sorted before the event.

I actually thoight this question was answered already.

That is -
$350 cash allocated to Brawl 1v1 - $200, $100, $50
$150 cash allocated to Brawl 2v2 - $80, $40, $20
Melee and Brawl FFA recieve minor prizes.

In addition any funds raised from an entry fee for brawl 1v1 will go to the winner of brawl 1v1.

Im not overly fond of the percentage way of doing it.
All placings will be eligible for the Ultimate Consoler draw - a brand new PS3 slim.

Brawl teams are eligible for the Western Digital Team Uniform Competition (a number of hdds). And all players holding tickets are eligible for door prizes.

Ladies receive cheaper entry because they make up a minority at these events and we want to encourage them. The highest placed female in brawl 1v1 will recieve a pair of Steelseries Iron Lady Headphones, unless she finishes in the top 3.

Ill further stipulate that for extra prize money, either everyone donates the extra $5-$10 or nobody does. If i have to, Ill put it to a vote on the day.

I do hope this has helped.

I should be there at around 9.30-45. Hopefully the console attendees don't have to wait in line with the PC guys, that was horrid last time!

I'll be there around 10 with Bryan & Tibs.
As I confirmed with Wookie, FFA is ran first and has no prize allocation.
Get hype.
...
Well try to.

I only just read today that it starts on friday night.
Me being my lazy self will just be there when it opens i guess, I'd rather be there for the night than have to wake up at like 8am.

I haven't played brawl since the other reloaded so i wonder how bad I've gotten

Ugh, **** these double posts.

Anyway.
Stuff, will happen.
It'll be good.
And I'll sidetrack Tibs if I'm in a tourney match with him by having a model walk around the room.
I've got this.

Actually, I've practiced a little goldeneye...for about 30 mins. Its the multiplayer lag that really puts me off, rich I know, coming from someone who spends 95% of brawl on wifi.

PDA tourney would be so awesome, and I hope they do mariokart again too.

Nova we are teaming in mariokart again, and this time I am driving.
