100% comprehension

Of course, a lot of these tests are imperfect. Their idea of what constitutes "good comprehension" shows up as bias in the questions they ask after you read. What they consider "good comprehension" (say, asking about specifics) might not be what someone else thinks is "good comprehension" (understanding the underlying themes, concepts, ideas, the author's purpose in writing it, etc). I, for instance, would have asked different questions.

Yeah exactly. these were pretty easy questions. And the reading material was not difficult at all in my opinion. If they had made me read about biology or philosophy I would've have had to have read considerably slower.

I'd say it makes sense to use average reading material for the test as it's most likely what people read the most of.

I agree about the comprehension part though.

Comprehension 100%.

Note: you realize this site is advertising their software, right? It's all a tool to basically get you to buy what they are selling. I mean the last question is "What is the best way to improve speed reading: software."

Wow, that last paragraph/last question were totally lost on me. I feel kind of dumb about that now, especially after I mentioned "author's purpose in writing it"!

Clearly CK's comprehension is actually 120%.

100%

I sped read it, and I feel like I got a bit lucky on a couple of the questions, but I'm pretty proud of myself regardless.

I could almost have answered those question without reading the text.
In fact I really skimmed over the text at 900 wpm and got a 82% just through logic and remembering random figures I had seen.

You're right. I super skimmed the text and did the same by answering by logic.
The question are really easy, which is why I got 2032 wpm and 73%

You're supposed to read at your normal reading speed, not try to read as fast as you can. I'm sure I could've at least doubled my wpm if I red as fast as I could.

Normal Reading Speed was 338 wpm.

82% Reading Comprehension.

That seemed like it was more a test of memory than reading comprehension.

342 wpm, and 100% comprehension.

Those questions were silly.

265 words per minute.

And 73% for comprehension.

Eh I enjoy reading a lot, but I'm a fairly slow reader.

I'm ashamed.

Speed, I figured I was slow, but missing one was unexpected. I agree, the questions were not appropriate.
