It really doesn't matter if the characters aren't real. You can still manage to have a connection with them. Nothing wrong with that at all.

I know how that feels. Finals are always a pain for me.

Same here, Rayman in Smash would mean a lot to me. I've said this a million times, but Sonic, Mario, and Rayman fighting alongside or against each other? That's a childhood dream come true.

I'm close to finishing up that letter, I may not even get it translated, I'm pretty sure there's plenty of people at Nintendo of Japan that know English.

Absolutely the same here. Three of my favorite video game characters possibly in the same game? I NEVER thought this would ever happen if you asked me like 10 years ago.

I can totally relate to having an emotional connection with fictional characters myself, and sometimes, it has been so strong that, even I had pretty sad livid dreams related to them, and those made my shed tears while asleep. And it happened because of the things I have created with them, most people may not know about my project with Ridley that caused those emotional breakings, but S5 knows it, and he can tell you that it is true, and the funny thing, even if I use it as a comedic relief, it is still sad. With my current Assassin Ray project, I'm nearly reaching the same level of emotion.

Well, yep, that is the truth. The things you are attached to really show's how much you care about them and the stuff you made between these characters that you love.

Same here. I've had plenty of dreams where I'm interacting and having adventures with my favorite characters, and then.... I wake up.

I've always wished they were real. It would be so cool.

Well, when those dreams come, I'm not interacting with them, but I just witness a sad moment or a tragedy, and it feels so real, that it is when I start to shed tears.

:) and of course, I would love that too! but, working with them to make stuff is enough for me.

Huh, I guess I've developed such a strong connection with them, knowing exactly how they would react to a expecific situation among other stuff, that I know how it would be interacting with them.... now I'm even more sad.

Well, I know how you feel, I feel the same with Ly. She gave me so much caring and love playing Rayman in R2, it shows how many good memories of R2 I have I love to this day...

The first dream I had with a fictional character was with Sonic. He was my favorite character ever as a kid, and I'm still a fan to this day.

xD I can only imagine, but I have an idea since plenty had gotten surprised the same way! Some even said that it was as shocking as when they first discovered that Samus was a woman!

I guess so. You can imagine I was pretty dang shocked when I found out she was a woman. A... very attractive woman XP

That would be REALLY hard to do, but yeah, I'd get one instantly if they managed to pull it off.

xD Haha, that same thing happened to my cousin, the one that showed me Super Metroid and MP a long time ago, He had bit of a crush on Samus, and since I loved Ridley, he and I had some sort of friendly rivalry! we were younger back then, but I was older than him.

.u. and well, I'm way older now, but screw it, I have a crush now with Shay, if it wasn't obvious enough.

<u< and let's say that it kind of cause a rivalry with @ SuperSegaSonicSS SuperSegaSonicSS , because his dynamic duo is Ly and Ray, and mine is Shay and Ray.

And of course! I will use my dad's gim to put him in the place of the punching bag!...but I think I will need a bigger one...

Haha, I can imagine that. Me and my brother fought all the time back then.

It couldn't be more obvious XP

Ray and Shay? That'd be really cool to see their relationship expand, considering how different they are in both personality and their own franchises.
