...Well, looking through the void that is the Youtube comment section on Etika's channel out of sheer boredom, at least I see some people mention wanting Rayman in them.

This may not be anything Rayman related, but it does involve Michel Ancel. It involves Miyamoto appearing at a Japanese Expo, showing off more of Super Mario Maker and some custom levels, during which Mr. Ancel makes a surprise appearance via video feed, where he made a stage for Miyamoto called Pac-Mario, knowing how much Miyamoto likes Pac-Man. While this doesn't give any clues regarding anything Rayman related for this year, it's a relief that Mr. Ancel is still on good terms with Nintendo, mainly with Miyamoto. I was sort of hoping that he would've made a level based on a Rayman related stage.

Off topic, but I kinda like how this picture looks like Shantae is pushing Sonic away.

But I'm glad that things seem to be going well with Michel Ancel and Miyamoto.

I'd like to see that "Pac-Mario" level, do you know if there's a video or something? Or the surprise-video in wich appears Ancel?

Fraid not. This was taken from the GoNintendo website, so if they did have the video available, they would post it up by now.

It was nice of Ancel to do this, considering he said that he wasn't a fan of Mario.

So Miyamoto and Ancel still keep in touch, well enough that Ancel knows Miyamoto likes Pac-Man, and he also happens to have a copy of Mario Maker before release, interesting... Miyamoto was also the one who suggested Pac-Man to Sakurai...

Though is there any actual proof of this other than an article that links to some random Reddit post that claims Miyamoto said these things himself on his top secret Twitter account that absolutely no one knows about? Before we get ahead of ourselves.

The last one looks rather fitting with RO/L Ray's face there. xD
Yeah.
I may have only played Rayman games, but Michel Ancel has quite the resume for being a game designer.
In fact, Ubisoft would NOT be where it is today had it not been for Ancel and his creation, Rayman.
I think this picture explains everything about Ancel nicely in a colorful manner.

Well, that's very nicely detailed. xD Like Ray's face in the background as well. xD
