...I'd honestly think if they would to use anything from R3, they would use the costumes as a palette swap, and use the actual powers for a moveset. He can use them without having the suit on, seen in some of those commercials for R3 before...

I don't know about you, but I'm afraid that Rayman 3 won't get any representation since Michel Ancel didn't create the game.

I've made a move set for Rayman myself. I think It's pretty good considering I never played a Rayman game. (I only played the Rayman Legends demo at some gaming store that I forgot the name of.) I think I posted it on this thread, but I don't know. (If I did the name change is throwing me.) It was ignored though so I'll try to give it damage percents and re-post it a little later.

Well he started working for Ubisoft at the age of 17...


Not specifically Rayman himself, but Ancel has said that a lot of the designs for the games were based on Celtic lore.

It's just so...distinctive. Like a child's drawing brought to life.

Well, when it come to the design, as in why he's limbless in this regard, it was due to limitations from how they wanted to animate the game, but had trouble making it work out right. So Rayman and many other characters in the first game were made without limbs.

As for the style, I believe it's a collaboration of differing art styles, one from french (or some particular foreign country) coloring style with American cartoon illustrations (ex Hanna-Barbera studios)

They have to show a trailer of the second DLC of Mario Kart 8 and a trailer of Mewtwo this month. (And of course in that Nintendo Direct, we'll see more Splatoon, star fox, etc.. Dreaming is free in the glade of dreams.)
