Do you remember that Rayman mod for Brawl using the Smash 4 trophy? I found this:

xD Geez...
Also Andrea, I just notice that his hair seems to be brawlified, it's not so simple looking and a bit duller and light... and it's more textured too. But thank you for posting this, I love his expression, it's so adorable and hilarious.

The Rayman 3 incarnation of Rayman is really growing on me. Of all of his designs, the Rayman 3 design shows Rayman at his strongest.

Speaking of which, is the personality of Rayman different between Rayman 2 and Rayman 3?

Well, one thing is for sure, Rayman in R3, besides being older, he became more sarcastic.

Oh, geez, sorry for the double post.

Yep. He was a bit calm and concering for Globox and the others, but in R3, he became a bit more aggessive and always seemed to want to fight al the time. xD

>u> The agressive Ray is mostly the way I protray him....but in the game, he's still calm...but sarcastic. And well, also, the game is more of a fighting game...so...it's obvious he would want to fight all the time.

Well, when he doesn't get annoyed by Globox and punch him occasionally. >u>

But yeah, he's more sarcastic then just aggressive, but I think it's more that he became a bit more..."confident" in himself and his abilities to me then how it was in R2 I think personally as well...

But yeah, you are right about that.

xD I just remembered the line Globox says when you punch him:

"You were nicer in Rayman 2"

yup...definitely changed. Globox confirms it!

xD Yep. Exactly! ^u^ It's funny to see that happen to Globox and breaking the 3rd wall, but I can't help but feel bad for Globox. .u.

I usually stick to defaults.... Unless the character happens to be Ness or Greninja.

I'd probably also stick with the original Rayman color.

Is Rayman 3 better than Rayman 2?
I really don't know what to tell you...I mean, I like more R3's design more than R2's...and in personality...I like both.

That's talking about Rayman himself.

the games are both awesome in their own way.

Speaking of which, @ AndreaAC AndreaAC which version of R3 did you have again? I assume it was on GC?
Yup, that one, but I haven't played it in a really long time. And when I do...I mostly use it to listen to a remix of a song in the Tower of the Leptys...sad that I can't find that version in any soundtrack.

Huh. I never really knew at that time it was on the GC, but until I looked that up years ago, I found out nearly every Rayman game has appeared on Nintendo's consoles, even Rayman M/Arena and now just founding out it started on Nintendo consoles first as well...

And well, where did you first hear that remix before? May I could find it if I gave to time to check for you.

Personally speaking, I enjoy Rayman's personality and design from the second game more than the third game.

Speaking on gameplay, Rayman 2 is my favorite of the franchise, and my second favorite game ever, whereas Rayman 3 is the weakest of the franchise, in my opinion, of course. Rayman 3 is the only game not made by his creator, Michel Ancel, so it definitely stands out against the rest of the games, though I can see how some would like it instead of the rest.

Rayman 2 also still stands as the highest acclaimed of the franchise, and one of the greatest games of it's time, as well.

Well, the game wasn't easy to find, it took me years.

it starts at 27:41...I just mute the SFX and only listen to the music for a while before continuing the level.

Legends and the first game are pretty close for my second favorite, but I love 3D platformers far more than 2D ones.

Which is why it's depressing that they had a prototype of a 3D game but apparently scrapped it...
