8/10

The song really sounds like it's about feeling trapped and regrets, simply put. It's actually pretty powerful.

(Shout-outs to Amphibia for introducing me to this song)

9/10 Ohhh my god yes this is still Clean Bandit's best song, and I wish Jess Glynne had more hits in the states cuz her voice is beautiful.

(if you want Roman letters it's called "Usseewa")

7/10 I like it, but it would be better if there was a little less screaming.

7/10 I don't care how cheesy it is, this type of melodic metal can seriously never be bad! The epic atmosphere just doesn't get old.

7/10 I think Cody has better songs than this. But country isn't exactly my strong suit. :bowsette:

7.8/10

Not taking the outtakes at the end into account for my rating, the lyrics seems to convey feelings of depression and self-doubt, all too common issues in modern times. The vocal work and instrumentals work together nicely to make for a short but meaningful song. The lyrics do get a little repetitive after just a few verses, but it's no big issue.

8/10 It sounds like disco-influenced late ‘70s rock, and it’s pretty good overall, although I don’t really like disco that much.

7/10 lol Everything about this, even down to the video, just screams 1992. But hey that's a peak era of grunge and this is a great example! It's a little repetitive but I love the frontman's voice.

8/10 It’s pretty good, but it is also strongly derivative of other emo and post-hardcore artists, in my humble opinion.

I think it's only because this is like the fifteenth song I've posted where the guitarist is Sergio Medina. :bowsette: You could probably recognize the sound by now.

10/10 Without this song, Motörhead wouldn’t be named Motörhead, and I love Motörhead, so I have to love this song lol. R.I.P. Lemmy.

4/10 It’s pretty generic country rock with a post-grungy chorus. It gets an extra star for the thumbnail, though lol

6/10 It’s pretty unoriginal, but it still has a pretty good sound to it.

8/10 Average XTC song, which means it's pretty good. So many hooks crammed into there, and it's interesting how they go kind of offbeat on the chorus.

7/10 Nothing stands out too much for me but I still like it.

New Dance Gavin Dance material. Their last album was two years ago. I try not to post too many of one artist or person but I liked this one. :bowsette:

7/10 Everyone stream this album now! It's incredible how well Miley sounds in rock songs. This is even one of the weaker cuts off the album and it's still great.

8/10 It's fun. Not deep, but it's a good time.

Despite mostly having an upbeat tone, the lyrics and singing convey numerous personal struggles and self-loathing in a powerful and poignant way.

5/10 She's got a good voice to be sure, and it picked up by the end, but the instrumental (especially that clapping beat) was too repetitive for me.

7/10 I think the language barrier makes it harder to appreciate for me. But the sound was groovy, I liked it.

I didn’t intend on posting Andy Cizek twice but his metalcore band Monuments made a new album and it’s a contender for AoTY. At least for the genre. Id give it a listen if you’re into that kind of rock. :bowsette:
