I've probably said this before but I can't stand a lot of the newer Sonic music, the low fidelity samples and instrumentation, the Garageband like production and format make it sound like elevator or lounge music. I do love the early Sonic series music though, can't believe it made the crap Genesis and SMS sound chips seem good.

Oh yes. This song is so GOOD. Not only from the game it comes from, but also because of too many times to count on playing on the Smash Flash and Brawl. Just great.

7/10 - I like most of the instrumental tracks, but as usual, not a huge fan of the vocalist. Definitely better than some other songs I've heard, though.

By the way, what do you define "newer" Sonic? Do you mean Adventure and after, or do you mean everything in, say, the past 5-10 years? I would disagree if it were the former, and mostly agree if it were the latter.

Full disclosure, I didn't know this song existed until Todd In The Shadows talked about it. And in my opinion it's okay. Lyrically it's inane, but it's certainly not awful. It's smooth, has a decent rhythm to it, and the riff (while a sample) is a great one.

So this track I've had for a while on my EDM playlists. The lyrics are absolute nonsense (can be forgiven since they are foreign) but pretty much every single other aspect about the song I love. Tiesto has such a great ear for remixes and often finding obscure songs to make hits out of.

I think you might be missing a few brain cells or have bad memory since I gave most of your EDM songs a 7 or 8 out of 10s and only rated that quickly made intentionally bad EDM song low. Everyone else has been giving your stuff 4/10 or 5/10, not me kiddo. In fact it was you that responded with a troll score of 4.5/10 on one of my songs and said "too long", it was only 5 minutes and it was clear you didn't even listen to it haha.
