I think modern music has ruined me. I know that's a good song and I like it, but the production, compression, mixing, mastering, and equalizing on it leaves a lot to be desired (as did most of the music in that time period because of the tech)

but the weird thing is I still love music from the 40s and 50s, some how it feels to me like they used recording techniques that seem closer to the end product these days even though the sound quality is obviously more primitive.
