I spoke with GwJ about creating a tournament results thread w/ his help in terms of maintaining it. I got the go-ahead, so.. here we are.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this thread is to catalog the achievements of ROB players. A lot of us won't be winning EVO anytime soon, nor will we be making our living playing this game (but we can certainly set out goals to that end), so pride & recognition is a big motivator. A big part of the competitive spirit is seeking a pat on the back for your accomplishments & recognition from your peers. And this is the thread to do just that!!
Eventually, I/we may use this to create some sort of cobbled-together R.O.B. Power Rankings List, but that will depend on feedback from you guys as well as activity in this thread (As having like... 3 players posting results makes for a lame thread, as well as PR).
Furthermore, I know that in the event some of us choose to go to regionals or nationals that require pre-registration & are ran by TO's who do put in the extra effort and do their homework to get seeding correct TO's will often times try to find a person's tournament results (especially if they aren't on their state's PR and/or are way out of the region where the tourney is taking place.) Usually, this will involve visiting character boards and perusing tournament results threads. So, in relation to that... hopefully this will improve the ROB Squad's seeding at major tournaments!
RULES, GUIDELINES, POSTING FORMAT:
Each player that submits results will get their own "Section" in the thread wrapped in collapsible spoilers w/ their name pointing to their SWF profile so we can have a nice, clean, organized list. Players will (attempted to) be organized alphabetically.

RULES, GUIDELINES, POSTING FORMAT:
- All tournaments that are posted here must be offline/in-person tournaments.
- At some point in the future we may create a separate section within this post for online tournaments (this will depend on user requests and also feasibility as if there's like 50 folks doing online tourneys every weekend, posting and updating this thread would be impossible), as I understand that not everyone is able to make it out to in-person tournaments for a litany of reasons, but they should get a chance to be recognized.
- This is for SINGLES only, and does not/will not include doubles.
- At the moment, this list will contain tournaments that allow customs, as well as those that do not. Please notate the legality of customs in this tournament by using [C] for "Customs Allowed" and [V] for "Vanilla / Customs Off".
- If the overall attitude of the community changes to the point where one format is the community-wide-agreed-upon-standard, this post will be edited to reflect that (though there will be no deletion of tourney results that fell under whichever format is no longer used).
- List the name of the tournament, its location, and the date it was held.
- Please provide links to results threads or Challonge/TIO brackets if possible.
- Please list your wins & losses against notable players & game score.
- NOTABLE PLAYERS include those who are Power Ranked in their respective state or region, or have been PR'd within one season at the time of the tournament. I understand not every state/region maintains a Power Ranking, and if they do it may be hard to access/view. In that event, if you know for a fact that the player is notable/well known in their region, please list, but only if you are sure. Otherwise, treat them as a regular player & do not list them.
- Please indicate whether the tournament you attended was out of your region by placing an [OoS] by the tournament name.
- Any videos of your matches (which you can cross-post to the Video Thread pending GwJ's approval).
- When you post your first Tournament Result, please indicate the tag you most often play under, state where you reside/play, as well as your age (optional) and photo of yourself (completely optional). This is a one-time request so that your "section" can look all nice.
- Please post the information in the following format:
- Tournament Name
- [Out of Region or Not]
- [Customs On or Off]
- Your Placement / Total Number of Entrants (If you were eliminated in pool play, state your overall bracket placing if possible. If none is available, state your placing within your pool)
- Wins/Losses against notable players
- Challonge/TIO Bracket or Results Page Link
An example of how a post might look:
