The second you go offline to laser, you just lost your advantage of keeping me on pin down. You also just placed yourself in a horribad position.
Just thought I'd say that.

Depends upon the distance. But at least we have discussed the snake/falco match-up so much we have reached a startling conclusion: Whichever side approahes ultimately will lose. So to avoid such equals only one thing. The second you go offline to laser, you just lost your advantage of keeping me on pin down. You also just placed yourself in a horribad position.
Just thought I'd say that.
Ok, SuSa, what happens becomes much like the match that Rain (Falco) and the other Japanese Snake did in that one camping fest. We just turn into a camping fest. But what happens if we don't move? That paradox returns. You haven't really been reading.
PS:
Grenades have a better damage output, at your far distance you allow me to throw 1 grenade at you. What happens if you get hit?
If I'm not far and you edge laser, you get punished by something else. ^_^
I forgot. What was the whole point to the discussion again xD I think we already agreed it was 55:45 Snake. I guess we were talking about a flow chart type scenarios xD9B won that camping fest. Our damage output is simply better then lasers and wins in the long run (think stale moves. Your laser eventually does 2~% while our grenades will remain doing 7~%)
As for MK, I posted my thoughts.
Sort of. It's one of those "who gets the proper advantage" type MUs. It's like debating who gets that final 5 points. xDIs the match up really that controversial?
Get your wii on first, then get on wifi. I'm still waiting to see what happens Time is ticking hurry xDMost Falco's say 55:45 Falco.
Most Snake's say 55:45 Snake.
I say 60:40 Snake and up to 55:45 on Falco's CP.
But 55:45 is close enough to 60:40 and "5 magicall bull**** points" means nothing to me to argue over....
If my point was 65:35 or if people believed it was 50:50 I'd be arguing. but TBH opinions can sway 5 points up or 5 points down and as long as most agree on up or down. I don't care about those 5 points.
EDIT:
Velox, get on WiFi. Play gay against me and watch what happens.
weird, it took forever for it to work. Get on AIM. That almost worked lolI'm already on WiFi...
And gay sort of works though xD Thanks for the matches, I need to play more of them.I missed dtilting/powershielding your dash attack a lot because of WiFi.
I also forgot that when you approach, I don't have to try the 'safe' thing because I have the advantage. I'm allowed to punish you in other ways.
Also extreme LOL at the shine having a blindspot that a Nikita can go through. That was just stupid. XD
But as you saw.... 2 stocking due to playing gay except on PS1 which you beat me at because I was being stupid during some of those transitions. =p
Now if the Falco plays any less gay then you were trying to, I get a larger advantage XD
Enough of your greatness. It'll go to your head one day. But what can I say. I cannot say anything at all xDAlso did I mention that offline it's really easy to tell a SHDL from an IAP or dash attack? Meaning I can almost always perfectly predict their approach. XD :3 icheat.
But this is not offline is it You have no excuse there.Just watch their controller, instant 1/100th of a second reaction time.
Because you see it before any animation actually begins.
LOL
play me on wifi it's a fun and educational experienceBut if someone can tell me how MK is broken I might change my mind. The only reason any character should be banned is because he's outright broken. MK isn't broken imo
yes, and I think falco and marth are only a little easier if at all than MK, particularly marth, I actually don't really think of falco as that bad and I never really have. so far this season on AiB the highest ranked player I've beaten was a falco...helped that I was already playing velox earlier that day, already was in the right frame of mind for it I just had to get gayer <_<I also made my point that no MK = more Olimar/D3/Falco/Marth.
As a Snake main.
I don't want more of the first 2.
almost the same but I do well with MK and a few others, my snake does a lot worse vs marth than MK for some reason...Marth is my personal "**** this" matchup. <_< I just get wrecked by Marth's no matter what character I play as.. except Marth dittos -_- which I **** the other Marth in.. it's weird.
I still call you havokk in my inner monologue...but yeah, havok is goood, I watched his recent set where he beat DSF earlier today, I still think marth is underrated because MK beats him and is like a better version of him, top 3 character if MK is banned IMO(I doubt it will happen but just saying).Havok is San Diego Havok, PR'd in SoCal.
I gave the tag to him because:
1) AFAIK he had it first
2) He was simply the better player at the time, and may very well still be the better player
do you keep a log of every game you play <_<I've had 1 Falco completely rapesauce me. That was TKO from A2, the same clan I am in.
It was online.
Input lag bad enough for me not to be able to time dtilt.
He 2 stocked me.
1 Falco... out of 29.............. 18 of which I 3 stocked.
I try not to play too gay in friendlies and I still get called the gayest MK ever <_< really my ultra gay side mostly only sees the light of day if I see ice climbers come out, I don't care if I'm facing an innocent little kid that doesn't even know how to chain grab, they're in for 8 minutes of hell.Pretty sure you were one of them. haha.... but only when I was playing gay... XD which I hate to do in friendlies.
I have horrible reaction time, I just try to predict everything that happens, if I reacted on everything I'd lose a lot worse than I do :pSuSa reaction time on the lines of 1/10 of a second. Mine is like 1/4 of a second long. Reason why I'm not suited for melee. And apprently Brawl as well. I've some work to do. And SuSa... you have to... just keep doing what your doing xD
we played one game in that matchup and I didn't perceive your IC's as being a huge threat by comparison to your falco/snake, I will literally do nothing but run away against IC's if I feel like I should. MK may be the closest to being ban worthy and maybe a few others are better characters, but no character will ever earn the sheer hatred I have for IC's and olimar. ever. You call that gay? That's not gay at all. That's avoiding the CG and playing smart. And not being on idiot. Gay is anything that you take to stall the match in my books. And I mean purposefully stalling. Planking I don't mind so much. At least you can try to punish that with Snake. The thing I really at is stalling using stages. Although that only happens on stages that are banned.
I play several characters that counter IC's even : p I just don't like them. And the ironic thing is that you main someone that should easily beat the ICs.
That stuff will work against the less experienced. It's the experienced it won't work on. Which I have little experience with. Plus, that is pretty much how I play offline as well. Since when did I care about winning or losing?@Velox
No this has nothing to do with you. -_- Although WiFi tactics are really FTL... stop caring if you win or lose, play how you'd play offline. I don't think you'd spam Jab nearly as much, especially not against Olimar. (Jab>Roll>Jab>Roll>jab) and MK's Jab > dsmash normally doesn't work offline....
Just a heads up if you actually want to **** your local scene offline. If you just play using primarily WiFi tactics, you will find you will fail at offline play. This is why "the wifi heros" are "far and few" is because too many people play with WiFi tactics, play offline, and place near last in their tourneys. BUT THEY CANZ ***** ONLINE WITH DA B BUTTON AND C-STICK. <3
Since you started discussing competitive smash.
It works on anyone that can't find a way around it. Sadly on WiFi, even if you know the why - it's still stupidly hard to do due to input lag. It's like trying to SDI Meta Knights whorenado. Just isn't going to happen reliably on WiFi.
Getting into the habit of not playing a style just because it works against scrubs/noobs offline and most anyone online is really bad.
I realized this back when I started to main PT... who doesn't really have any WiFi tactics besides maybe spamming rock smash as charizard, or bullet seed as Ivysar.

This is the woes that are wifi. But what more can one expect. Wifi is simply a training ground for the real thing. By the time I actually start offline tourneys (which won't be likely for at least another 1-2 yrs) I should have enough experience against various characters to actually know what to expect. The only transistion left would be the offline vs online differences. Which I believe can be overcome quickly at the rate others have done it.
