those are called jc shines, you just have to have really fast fingers...slide from y to b would be my suggestion...its even faster for fox O_o

Use Y. Best option. Good for shield pressuring, or double shine> JC grab. With Falco, you have to work on your timing.

quick double shine and bair?

i thought i had it but i guess not

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lI3BrBa8RY look at 1:23 how can it do it like that? I tried doing a shine then jumping and quickly doing another but it definitely wasn't like that

while thats there how does he do that shine into bair so quickly at 2:32? i saw that yesterday and tried it but couldnt get it down

also at 2:39 and 2:41

Something I'm working on is tilting the control stick just enough to perform a move. TILT down and press b, then jump out of the shine using the control stick. For shine Bair, do the same thing, but use the c-stick RIGHT after you jump out of the shine to Bair as soon as possible. Again, only tilt the control stick.

ok...so like to do more than one you just have to find the rhythm of going from y to be that quickly

in order to do a shine bair the fastest way to do it is to down b, then as fast as you can press up on the control stick and back on t c-stick...

i hate tilts, i always hit the buttons so hard when im really into it lol.

Ok so for the shine bair i jump, do a shine, hit jump and right away c-stick into the bair?

one other thing i seem to be having trouble with it hopping back onto the stage and getting a double laser. I can get 1 laser but not a 2nd one.

basically im holding on the ledge, drop down and quick jump up, rapidly press b but only one will come out. How do i do 2?

and yeah shine bairs and shine dairs are alla bout frame perfect jc shines

ok for lhdl you need to drop down lower than you think (ff by pressing down off the ledge), then press y then slide from y to b as fast as you can

Not worth it. Waste of motion and time. Tilting the stick is so much more efficient, and faster. Plus, you seem more impressive without all of the KLAK KLAK KLAK you normally hear.

thats what i'm doing, like right after i press the y button i immediately go to b and rapidly press it but its only going one time. Am i doing something wrong there?

i'm just pressing down so i would say i fast fall off the edge but when i jump back up i don't fast fall. when i jump in the air normally i notice if i press y and 2 b's right away it works one right after the other. Just doesn't seem to be happening when jumping back onto the ledge

For LHDL I find it easiest to drop with the control stick, wait a bit, and press Y with my index finger and then hit B twice as I'm coming up.

if u wanna practice falcos lhdl then learn and practice fox's shdls.
im pretty sure fox's needs quicker finger work, i think its Y>b withing 3 frames, something around there.
just slide from y to b, then tap b again, dont try to do it in 2 motions.
once u have that down u should have the speed to do lhdls.
the hardest part then is gunna be dropping from the ledge and letting the control stick go to a neutral position so u dont just drop>jump>shine:laugh:
for the lasers to be useful and at your opponents height there has to be a small delay from the ledge drop to the jumping lasers, so that should be enough time not to let go of down.

sorry if that whole thign didnt make sense lol
practice on hyrule, on the ledge leading into the cave of life, just so u dont sd or have to firebird whenever u mess up.

lol yea i've done that a few times but usually it doesn't happen

yea i noticed if i dont wait a little while the first one goes over their head

Lol Viperboy. Abulize, what I do to do the LHDL(Ledge hop double lasers) is I go down with the Control Stick, push down and then push up pushing the B button pretty fast. Its in my vids vs Flowin and vs Lambchops and KeepSpeedN the lasers are pretty low....
10characters

Edit:
Abulize, when you get on the Edge push down with the control stick. Next you push up on the control stick to jump from the ledge(upwards), and then for the third step you just push the B button. Like when you push down on the control stick, thats to fastfall. Then when you push up you'll jump then you just shoot lasers for the third step :).

SHDL does have a 3-frame window. Practice on Falco for that. You need frame-perfect timing to hit him with both lasers.

for falco you can use x to jc cause its not like you got to be super fast...but if u wanna pull off multishines probably gonna have to use y

Travel along the outer edge of the Y button for the best results for JC shines.

Outer edge slows you down, and prevents you from missing your shine. That's just the way I do it, anyway. SHDL made my fingers too slide-happy.

or you can just make sure you presss it...

irrelevant jc shines are really irreleavnt unless you use hem for shield pressure but good luck wiht that its just easier to pillar.

Yeah, pillaring is better, but if you can throw in a double shine when you do it....scary. Besides, with Falco's skills, sometimes, you just need to show off.

No, it's just that Y is the more efficient button choice. I recently made the switch. Imagine if you take all of the finger speed you use for X and applied it to only having to move a MUCH shorter distance. You would have time for more things, such as crazy technicals.
