quick double shines?

Y to B works for multishining with Fox, but with Falco I've been finding that B to Y makes the shines cancel much much faster. The timing is tricky.

I do

B --> Y / B --> Y / B --> Y...

The /s are when I pick my finger up.

Mostly because my fingers are used to multishining with Fox, and the control stick feels awkward and slow.

Hmm... I might try this. Good thought. I usually jump out of my shine with the control stick during a shine spike. It's a Fox thing that I still use with Falco when I want to get out of my shine quickly.

well when I did training mode at 1/4 speed I noticed it did like 4rings before it stopped. I think I got it once, but I can't get it to work again. I just held down the control stick and tried to press B twice fast, but you're saying you need to JC it? sorry for the nooby questions, I'm trying to get better with Falco and make him my secondary (he's so fun ).

yeah...in order to do the fast ones...you have to jc it...

Very quickly shine, jump, shine, jump.
That's how you do a quick double shine. If you start on the ground, you can do ANOTHER shine after that for a quick triple shine, naturally you can't jump out of the last one though.

True, I usually say "multi-shining."

JC means to jump cancel. When I JC shine, I start off with the shine, then go into a second, after that, I usually grab.

i mean i rarely find the NEED to jc shine...like i know when i can use it but...there are better options.

Grab out of shine ftw... What's the point of multi shining, besides looking flashy and shield pressure? Because for shield pressure, you can just pillar or grab, and for looking flashy... well. It's falco, there are so many options... :-).
