Ther was about 10 controllers in those plastic cabinets they have. I asked if I could test them and the guy put smash into the gamecube they had set up for me (xD he was like "woah are you pro at this game or something?). Would have bought more but forgot to go back.

Right now the best place to get cube controllers is ebay, but make sure you set it to U.S.

What's the name of the screw driver you need for cube controllers?
It'd be cool to buy up a ton of spare parts to keep everybody set for the long run.

(We'll be playing Melee 50 years from now)

I remember this guy in america having a container full of tops and bottoms and various parts ready to repair broken controllers.

I have a fair few spare parts, you need a tri-wing screw driver.

Cal, you should team with Tiahn, I think she could teach you a few things about smash lololololol.

Your funny. It's even more funny that we have already teamed up and surprisingly we did ok. Spamachu is effective in doubles. O_O

Sigh I've had very little practice lately. I'm surprised no one wanted to host any meets that included Brawl this weekend.

Keep in mind I'll be asking for $10 straight up. That'll provide for both events on the day. A bunch of Aika's friends should be coming. I hope we can hit like, 30 people on the day :)

There's a topic up on LanSmash about this now:

Let's talk equipment ~

Who's got what, and what can they bring?
More equipment means faster tournaments meaning more time for crews at the end :)

Also means we can have friendlies setups on the off day for each game.

Me, Kaion and my friend will be arriving there together so we'll have like..... 3 or 4 wii (if Kaion bring his Japanese wii) and maybe 1 or 2 TV.

Anyone need a brawl and melee doubles partner?

oldman said see what happens about tournament this weekend, so i'm automatically assuming that means no.

Without oldman, i've got no one :(. Probs be the first time i team with a non-ganondorf.

Well, i'm definitely not fussy, i'll play with anyone as long as they want to have abit of fun cos i don't treat doubles that seriously.

For any potential doubles partners.. for both games i main...
Brawl - Diddy Kong
Melee - Falcon (dropped falco last week) so still incredibly noob with falcon.

hey, my 'see what happens' is different to your 'see what happens'. I'll probably come, if not you don't treat doubles that seriously so you can just chose someone else on the day. Just go dual mk's with anyone and you'll win, flawless tactic.
