i was about to leave marth for metaknight. i think i should be punished. i just can't leave marth, what was i thinking?

You were thinking logically.
You play to win, so why not choose the best character in the game? It's that simple.
I'll punish you though, if you insist. Just go up to that wall right there and let me kneel down a bit. Don't try to DI up and away now. Hold still.

But seriously man, it's up to you on what character you want to be. As cheap and unfair MK might be sometimes, if you feel more comfortable with using MK, then use him. Glad to hear that you're sticking with marth though.

*sigh* guys, just let him chose which character he wants. Sure MK is "God tier" and to me it's a hollow victory if you can win against someone unless you use a "god tier" character. But hey if you want to play MK then go ahead. If you don't have a sense of pride in the character of Marth then by all means change the character. I had to stop maining as him because I could never win a friendly when Brawl came out. So now I main PT. By all means go and try your hand as MK, he's a god character if you ask me and I haven't seen too many people who have learned to be cheap with him. So yeah, go ahead learn the ways of the MK.

Yo, to be honest, i'm just happy that you decided to turn back to Marth. I agree with Bomber7, man. MK doesn't seem to take half the work Marths do to win, and I feel pride that I work really hard and study technique to get the well earned victory. Ahem. ahem...ahem.

I can't blame you for wanting to with the "better" overall character. We've all been tempted to at one point. Look at M2k he left Marth a long time ago and look how good he's doing. Though I wonder if he was still using Marth in Brawl how he would be doing. Anyway It's great that your sticking with the "gayness" that is Marth, but If you ever do leave there will always be those faithful to him to carry on his legacy.
If you want pride, then forget Marth. Bottom tier is where the pride is buddy. *salute to Jiggly*

Just get a MK counter and a Snake counter. Marth can handle everything else if you're better than the other guy.
MK < Snake/Falco/Peach/Pikachu
Snake < King Dedede/Peach
I heard Donkey Kong and Wario, are each supposed to work against both of them. I don't know that for a fact though, so don't count on it. They're probably even. And even sucks, when you want to COUNTER stuff.

Marth wants to chop off your balls, not my words his. he said he won't use shieldbreaker though, he said DB would be quick and easy.
