I know this is out of place, but I was hoping to get a more swift response here- we had a power surge of some kind the other day and my wii was plugged into the wall. It won't work now. I only have one cord though so i dont know if the cord is the problem or if it's the wii. Would the power brick have stopped the surge from frying my wii or am I basically ****ed?

Does it not power on at all? If so, then the power supply most likely got fried.

No power whatsoever. I'm just wondering if by some inane luck that Nintendo built a failsafe into the power brick and my wii isn't an expensive paper weight now.

He's also infamous for his greed. Have him pull out a money bag and shake it/hug it with glee. No money falls out of course.

power brick= surge protector? Did you have it plugged into a surge protector? You would think they protect surges and stuff like lightning hits but no one I know knows.

god ****ing damnit haha
i have autism btw, it doesn't bother me
How does autism affect you then?

@White controllers= They half-suck, they are built right but they aren't the same as the originals in size, texture, plastics, control stick is MORE DURABLY MADE (Mahone posted about this) but less REFINED MOVEMENTS and everything. I own a couple.

@Lucas= This guy and GP are good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAYdItVgo3E&feature=player_detailpage#t=361s
I also can't believe he's not using buffer..he's lying isn't he!

Only thing I miss is general "wear" feel on the Platinum controllers was amazing. Breaking in Plat ones is probably the greatest joy lol. You could grow old breaking them into Melee or just years of Sunshine/other games. The white ones it's just not the same.

You need to reset your power cable. Unplug everything from the wii and thn unplug the cable from the wall and let it sit for awhile. It should work if the red light comes back on when you plug it back it.

The controller keeps inputting that I am holding the stick towards the right even if its in a neutral position. That and the R button is kinda janky. It was a plat color.

You should try pushing left until your ingame cursor stops going right and stays neutral, then reset your controller
