I still don't really understand the point of wavedashing.

I mean, wavedashing to edgehogis fine. That makes sense and is a wonderful application. When I first learned how to do it, I was pretty much unstoppable in my group of friends.

But for the most part, I find myself sprinting instead of actually wavedashing most of the time.

There's 5 untapped semi-global potentials in PM
-Precise use of B-reverse/Wavebouncing, along with using them after WJs
-Custom control exploits/advantages
-More footstool stuff, and AGT stuff, and RAR stuff, and JC Pivot Boost Grab (Falco's is crazy). Overall people suck with items that give you full control once you grab'em, then you can do crazy stuff depending on your character like Wolf's laser AD cancel and Zelda's Up-b AD cancel can also be used to AGT and JC throw out of shines and stuff.
-Early aerials (1 frame of buffer would open the gates of this for generally the better, but at a high enough level and 20XX and such most early/double aerials can ascertain to be at least doable without it)
-More ergonomic comfort with light press AD option
