So i've heard rumours that (currently), in Smash 4, that ground momentum does not translate into air momentum? Could someone confirm this?

Because he won a tournament, thus passing through the rite into brokenness.Wait why is Mewtwo broken
Yes, just like Brawl. So i've heard rumours that (currently), in Smash 4, that ground momentum does not translate into air momentum? Could someone confirm this?

So why doesn't anyone else? Emu may use "gimmicks" but it doesn't change the fact that he's the best at using said "gimmicks" (aka a good player).M2K practices PM a lot though so I'm not sure where you got that from. Plus I want to add that Emukiller openly admitted that he's one of the best PM players simply because he exploited the broken characteristics of Mewtwo. Just saying.
You're missing the point. I was never saying Emukiller was a bad player, I'm just making the point that in some regards M2K is right; some people as of PM 3.0 gain advantages by using some of the more abusable and broken tactics that people don't fully quite understand at this point, and me quoting Emu was just once such example. So why doesn't anyone else? Uh.Salty because he isnt the best mewtwo
Ah, gotcha. While the game isn't without problems, I was more disagreeing with m2k's notion that gimmicks are automatically cheap. But yeah, we're gonna see some abusable tactics for a while since the meta's so young. You're completely missing the point. So they play the game, and are good/knowledgeable? ******** should be hung for using intelligent, strong, and successful strategies instead of just slamming their head through the game engine's proverbial wall like everyone else. Walking through the door is a gimmick that requires none of the head-demolition skills I've aquired or mastered in my career so therefore, **** this new door fad. Just a bunch of baddies imho. You're missing the point. Yes because PM is a completely flawless game that requires no balance patches whatsoever because every character is perfectly designed to be fair and equal to every other character in this cast. It's not like some characters require more commitment than others, or that I could have a character that can stick something on to a character and kill them at 65%. It's not like there isn't a spammable projectile that deals 15% damage and combos into a kill move. Because this game is absolutely flawless and I shouldn't be able to assert the notion that maybe, just maybe, some characters have moves that are unbalanced and need fixing. So they play the game, and are good/knowledgeable? *******s should be hung for using intelligent, strong, and successful strategies instead of just slamming their head through the game engine's proverbial wall like everyone else. I've literally no idea what you're on about, where in my block of satire pertaining to the hilarity of approaching progress with the gimmick mentality did I insinuate that PM is, even remotely, perfect...Yes because PM is a completely flawless game that requires no balance patches whatsoever because every character is perfectly designed to be fair and equal to every other character in this cast. because i skipped, like, 6 pages because **** reading all that ;x i just found it on the ganon boards (likely because of you <3) and threw it out here beause it was silly : pI just posted this last page, y u do dis, Cory?
@ shairn I made the gif from the Twitch archives, it should all be there. It's just gonna be hella split up cause the stream kept crashing
@Canon I guess it's time for the weekly Fox Discussion ThreadI think every character should get a shine. And then, to make it better everyone needs a spam able projectile, and an up-smash that kills at 80%! Ooh ooh, and they should really fast , an- wait a minute...
SOoooo... has anyone got their hands on Freedom Planet? That game is too good... Like...REALLY good.
Part of the Summer Pack that SOJ is experimenting with different things in. Look in Reddit it was there on the Project M page.I saw a new Norfair on the SG weekly stream, where was this released?
Yeah I've seen mixed reception across the board. But I've had my hands on the game since day one. A lot of the complaints are from people who have had their standards set too high or are just not the target audience it was trying to reach. Not to mention that the Kickstarter didn't get nearly as much attention as say a game like.. Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero and Might No. 9. It is obviously geared towards 90's platformer fans. Also, its appearance as a Sonic inspired game has, more often than needed, been the biggest negative reason people have had against playing this game.
Mixed reception from people.
Have not played demo yet.
