So i've heard rumours that (currently), in Smash 4, that ground momentum does not translate into air momentum? Could someone confirm this?

So before I fall asleep and totally forget...

Bowser's side-b grab should have a third downward throw that has Giga Bowser's dthrow animation.

M2K practices PM a lot though so I'm not sure where you got that from. Plus I want to add that Emukiller openly admitted that he's one of the best PM players simply because he exploited the broken characteristics of Mewtwo. Just saying.
So why doesn't anyone else? Emu may use "gimmicks" but it doesn't change the fact that he's the best at using said "gimmicks" (aka a good player).

You're missing the point. I was never saying Emukiller was a bad player, I'm just making the point that in some regards M2K is right; some people as of PM 3.0 gain advantages by using some of the more abusable and broken tactics that people don't fully quite understand at this point, and me quoting Emu was just once such example.

Ah, gotcha. While the game isn't without problems, I was more disagreeing with m2k's notion that gimmicks are automatically cheap. But yeah, we're gonna see some abusable tactics for a while since the meta's so young.

So they play the game, and are good/knowledgeable? ******** should be hung for using intelligent, strong, and successful strategies instead of just slamming their head through the game engine's proverbial wall like everyone else. Walking through the door is a gimmick that requires none of the head-demolition skills I've aquired or mastered in my career so therefore, **** this new door fad. Just a bunch of baddies imho.

Yes because PM is a completely flawless game that requires no balance patches whatsoever because every character is perfectly designed to be fair and equal to every other character in this cast. It's not like some characters require more commitment than others, or that I could have a character that can stick something on to a character and kill them at 65%. It's not like there isn't a spammable projectile that deals 15% damage and combos into a kill move. Because this game is absolutely flawless and I shouldn't be able to assert the notion that maybe, just maybe, some characters have moves that are unbalanced and need fixing.

The hardest decision in my life is whether I want to main either Fox or Falco in Melee. I love Falco's more natural style of comboing but Fox's speed, U-Smash, and his shine are so cool and fun.

How practical are multishines with Fox?

I've literally no idea what you're on about, where in my block of satire pertaining to the hilarity of approaching progress with the gimmick mentality did I insinuate that PM is, even remotely, perfect...

I think we should all just take a step back and admire how truly amazing this mod is.

On an unrelated note, why yes, PMBR, I will test your build. I'd be happy to help.

I think every character should get a shine. And then, to make it better everyone needs a spam able projectile, and an up-smash that kills at 80%! Ooh ooh, and they should really fast , an- wait a minute...

Yeah, Lucas is basically aerial Squirtle with his momentum gliding stuff. That's why I play them both.

Mixed reception from people.

Have not played demo yet.
Yeah I've seen mixed reception across the board. But I've had my hands on the game since day one. A lot of the complaints are from people who have had their standards set too high or are just not the target audience it was trying to reach. Not to mention that the Kickstarter didn't get nearly as much attention as say a game like.. Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero and Might No. 9. It is obviously geared towards 90's platformer fans. Also, its appearance as a Sonic inspired game has, more often than needed, been the biggest negative reason people have had against playing this game.

A realistic common complaint I've seen though is how the difficulty of bosses spikes. Which this would be understandable for a complaint from a casual gamer. A lot of core 90's platformer fans honestly shouldn't have this problem though, as the game is far more forgiving about check points and continues than most other games. And in my personal opinion, this shouldn't be a complaint at all. This game hasn't even been out for a week and people have not allowed the game to ease onto them. And the reason I say this is because the game had beta testers and such on Steam. The bosses obviously were built on the player's feedback, which means they were able to eventually comprehend boss patterns and game mechanics enough to not have an extremely difficult time beating them. I think a lot of the new aged games have pampered a lot of these people to the point where the just find the game to be completely unfair, since they can't go in and beat a boss immediately. That is just my opinion though.

As for the story, people are hardly impressed by anything that isn't Xenoblade Chronicles story quality nowadays. It takes a lot to have an incredibly captivating story to people who have seen the likes of stories like Freedom Planet's. I enjoyed it more than any decent plot from a good Sonic game. It had a very Sonic SatAm vibe to it, but with more of a Disney-ish charm.

TLDR; If you like Mega Man X, Classic Mario and Sonic type games and don't mind the character designs, you'll be fine. The criticism is far too harsh, because the game caters towards core 90's platformer fans. Not to mention the unforgiving amount of Sonic haters will immediately criticize the game anyways.
