I've developed a positive mentality about my posts getting ignored.
It often just means no one disagrees heavily enough to start attacking it and it is serious enough to not get a bunch of likes (except from @ MechWarriorNY ). Sometimes they are also ignored because they are too long which is a sign to me that I have put some thought into it, if no one disagrees heavily enough with that much text. Most are probably like: "Ah ok, an unfunny post, doesn't seem that wrong, won't read it either though."
I was never so happy about my posts getting ignored

SnK isn't bad because Eren is a lil ****. It's bad because it's poorly written. Eren is stupid, but at least he's got an interesting character as an "insane" protagonist. Apparently this was toned down from the manga.

Mikasa is given motivation and backstory, but no character development (as with the rest of the cast).

Armin is slightly less stupid than most of the rest of the cast because he plans like a little boy scout whilst everybody else plans like a rebellious teenage boy.

Jean is given a reasonable line of thinking, but for some reason abandons it. Again the lack of character development. Show, don't tell Author.

Annie's motivations are barely hinted at, but she has no character development, nor any important role besides being randomly the (relatable?? cuz she's not) antagonist. She is doing what she must apparently, and that defines her entire character. She's so flat.

Levi is cool. But he's also got no character. I like him because he's my AoTTG main.

All other characters are negligible or there to serve a purpose and/or/via die(ing) as far as the show's focus is concerned.

And then there's the hugely underdeveloped world. We get that the Titans are a mystery, but why don't we even get an explanation of our character's views on the political/military institution, the economy, or their missing loved ones

Because the anime ended before they got to those points from the manga. lol

Anyway, whatever. I still loved and enjoyed Attack on Titan. No amount of ****ing is gonna change that.

You know I liked the hell out of your proposed PM changes post that you put a lot of time and thought into. I'm a wee bit drunk right now but I hope some other people took the time to read that whole thing and think about it. I liked almost all the changes you came up with (except nerfing MK!!) :D

It also broke my heart a bit to propose the nerf but I want to be neutral. I thought as general principles that I want to balance around the ~10-15th best character, so everyone above would get nerfed. Also generally slight recovery nerfs for almost everyone were in it, and I thought that some B-moves would have more potential with the tilt/full-press mechanic.
I'm glad you liked it because it was >2 hours of work. I secretly hope some of it gets used, ans I saw a PMBR posting on the same page, so who knows O.o
I might change it a little because I'm >90% sure I forgot sth. that I really wanted to include but I don't know what

You know what would have made Attack on Titan a better show, other than speeding up some painfully slow and repetitive pacing?

Getting rid of those ridiculous human-titan transformations, it's my least favorite thing about the whole story.

Humanity on the verge of extinction fighting a relentless enemy that is higher on the food chain is an amazing premise for a show, with great opportunities for character development, that lasts all but 7 episodes before descending into typical power fantasy nonsense from any other anime.

The one thing that made the show fun and unique and frankly scary the first time you watched it was turned into something pretty dopey and silly because the author wouldn't commit all the way to the premise.

I AM getting on others cases for this stuff, it is incredibly foolish to fight over. I can't physically shut people up over the internet, but take my word for it; if it were in-person, I wouldn't be asking people to stop.

Yes! On my music pack, everything I have is either very funky, very jazzy, or both. I feel like all the songs I have fit the stages I put them on.

Everyone is gathered around the TV so it makes it hard to focus, I guess. I have delayed reactions and my hands lock up slightly, I can't even DJC PK Freeze in crew battles.

pros : music blocks out the other people which might be considered distractions, and good songs MIGHT allow you to react better because of hype / excitement.

cons: you miss audio cues from the enemy's attacks. mostly big against snake.
its not allowed at every tournament (i think) so don't let the music make you play better

thats why i prefer to have exciting, and thrilling music on the game itself. i play at my best and i can hear snake shenanigans

You can plug up headphones into certain TVs so that you're listening to the game audio with headphones, and only the game audio so not surroundings.

EDIT: Just noticed the headphones thing was only about listening to music while playing.

We weren't using my (or any) music pack at the time, but it's a huge hit at the Smashfests so maybe everyone will start using it. That'll help me out a bit.

And mech, that song is pretty lame. I like some old hair metal, but not much of it. That song was high octane pop music.
