I stayed at a friend's house this weekend and we binged so much Mario Kart 8.
IT'S SO GOOD.
I just haaaaate that they botched Battle mode. Putting Battle mode on actual tracks doesn't work out well at all; the courses are way too big for Battle to work on them.
But everything else about it... I was going to wait for Smash to get my Wii U but I might have to get it early.

Battle mode is the only thing they did wrong (should have made it like double dash)
And I was in shock to see that they added toad's turnpike (my favorite mario kart 64 track)

The only problem I have with MK8 is the character selection and a cheap battle mode, everything else is absolutely amazing. Especially the music. Oh my goodness, the music.
