I know this probably isn't the best place to ask, but I didn't want to make a new thread so here it is: For max comboing potential in a short hop, would you want to perform an aerial as soon as you leave the ground, and then fast fall and L cancel it, or short hop, wait until you reach the apex of your jump and THEN perform the aerial, fast fall and L cancel? I assume the first method is better for comboing, since I've done the second one (waiting till the top of the short hop to do an aerial) and my opponent has been able to escape. So, what is the best method of doing aerials for comboing?

There's no right or wrong answer to that; It all depends on the aerial, which hitbox you are trying to hit with, which part of the stage you are performing the aerial from relative to your opponent, character %, opposing character height and whether or not they have a good crouch, etc.

If you do it soon enough to autocancel it that can be best. I need help to finish a video on early aerials

Ok, makes sense. Since I have you here, what do you think it would be optimal to do for Marth's fair?

TL is fun. I've been playing around with him since thursday, and I love his dtilt sweetspot.

Do it early enough to fair twice.

I do it with just A, it's close enough to X/Y that you can just roll your thumb over quickly.

Nakat vs M2K in 1 stock brawl was pretty entertaining. The long bouts of nothing happening were typical brawl though.

And M2K won Brawl Singles as well. You can't fix 100% lame play in a defensive based game with rules sadly. Maybe SSB4 needs to take a page from ASW fighters and add a Negative Penalty feature Kappa?

The real new metagame is Giant Turbo 4P Giga Bowser FFAs on Training Room.
Giant turbo metal Giga Bowser just turns into a contest of who can upB -> utilt first.

I have extensive experience in this matchup.

Drunkbit just woke up an hour ago and thus has not had anything to drink yet. And is also sick, so shouldn't be drinking (but he has been). :D

We need him paired up with someone loud like EE.
EE is an awful commentator
He adds way too much of the same flavor text over and over again, especially things like "Les' go!" and "Rightch hyeea!" and almost always says different phrases with one of like a set of 3 patterns of inflection/syllable/emphasis
And he hardly even changes the tone of his voice so he sounds like he's always trying to be to be hype... but succeeding only halfway, even when he should definitely be hype or definitely shouldn't

EE is a ton of fun to listen to, sorry you're bitter and sad.

But i'm not bitter or sad about anything. I'm a very happy person actually; what is it about some people that makes them think that others who are capable of criticism must have some underlying personal reason for not being super nice and sugar coating everything?

It's just an observation. Just listen to him compensate. Everything I said in my post Is a fact, minus the "EE is an awful commentator" part. That part is an opinion based on the facts I observed. If you think repetitive commentary and fake hype make for a good commentator then you are entitled to your opinion even if it is wrong.

Yo man. It's fine to be critical. What you are being is a **** though. Not constructive at all. There's no need to tear down someone who puts in a lot of hard work to entertain you. EE seems like a nice guy and I think it's pretty lame of you to sit back, criticize his tone of voice, repetition and say he's horrible. Fine, he repeats himself a bit. But criticizing his tone of voice? Calling him horrible? That's completely unnecesarry and seems borne out of negativity, rather than a desire to actually help someone improve.

I don't see the point of gfycat for Smash highlights. Mainly because they're not real images and they can't be embedded here. Since you still have to click a link in order to say them, you may as well link directly to a Youtube or Twitch timestamp, that way people can hear the sound with it and also rewind to watch the context of the rest of the match.

But you're exaggerating how much I said he was awful
The main point of the post was the observations.
Like I said, if you like repetitive commentary and fake hype then more power to you
I'll be over here with a correct opinion
