so is that a no? lol? Not a big deal, I guess just wondering if anyone knows.
I'm still trying to figure out the Sonic matchup myself because the phoenix pm bi-weeklies always get seeded in a way that I play nazo round 1. Since Wizzrobe stopped playing PM, the best sonic title probably goes to Nazo or Map Mark (he's been putting in a lot of work) so nazo is the perfect person to learn the MU with haha. Its weird because Sonic is so fast that most characters have no hope in pinning him down. I don't think Yoshi has a hope in catching him unless its on like FD or a small stage. Sonic takes/controls space really well with his speed but he doesn't neccesarrily have the options to hold any one space at a time, he is really hit/run with his pressure and his whole game. Shielding is pretty safe in general, his standing/running grabs aren't that great. He can JC his side-b (the one that spins and pops him up) into a grab though so be wary of that mixup. Sonic has nothing to out-prioritize most characters moves, but you can't just like throw them out because he can like punish jabs from full-stage >.> I think the MU is easier for Diddy than Yoshi because I can control space and threaten platform control/the air above me in a much more flexible manner.
Recovering low against sonic is just asking to get killed really early, and be careful of homing attack off stage eating up the jump. You can SDI out of his u-air, and if you're above him at all be careful because he CAN reach you with his up-b. Fair is a meteor, the spring is a semi-spike. His recovery is really really huge but he can't cover himself well and the flexibility is limited to Side-b+DJ, then homing attack, air dodge, or up-b with an aerial. Sonic can Air dodge after his up-b if he Bairs on the way up so be careful of that as well.
Its not necessarily a hard matchup for characters, its a hard matchup to play yourself because sonic is so damned fast. He's like a falcon that has a better/repeating hitboxes will less killing potential.
