i was thinking about the roy matchup earlier today
walked downstairs, and my brother is trying to put out an overblown candle flame and tons of lit matches using paper towel
a paper towel
a ten year old playing with matches

at this point the alarms are going off and all i can think is i got to put out teh ph1r3 before the house burns down
i end up just ramming my fist down into the candle cup sealing off oxygen from the bin
needless to say the fire died
and now my fist feels like crap
TLDR never think about roy in your house or teh ph1r3 will spread

Who fits these criteria guys? i come from a tekken background and so that's where i figured out my playstyle i think, but I'm trying to see who fits this in smash. I play Ganryu/Jack 6 with Marduk on the side in tekken btw. I like characters with strong throw games, momentum heavy, heavy in general, spacing heavy as well as doing big damage in a few hits/trades. I think there are a few characters that fit that style but who do you think fits that the overall best? thanks guys, i appreciate it

The only characters that I can think of that fit at least some of it right now are Ganon and Ike yeah.

Ike isn't too boring once you learn his quickdraw(sideb) options. You can jump out of it, meaning you can do the following: aerial, jumpcancel grab, jumpcancel upsmash, and wavedash. Or you can just hit them by pressing b instead of jumping.

Also, wow m2k. I'm getting the impression that he just says stuff without quite thinking about it, or phrases things wrong constantly.

I can wavedash, upsmash, grab, RAR, and straight up jump out of quickdraw, I just find him a little too linear and his animations strike me as standard sword man and those in conjunction are kind of boring. Thanks for all the help though!

How do I make it so that my ankles and shins don't hurt to the point where I want to saw them off my body so I can't feel them anymore? I don't think my shoes are the problem.

Most likely cause of what your feeling is that your ankles are rolled too inwards while you're running - your feet are supposed to absorb most of the shock from running, but running incorrectly can put most of the stress on your ankles and shins, which aren't built to sustain that kind of lasting repeated trauma.

Take a break from whatever parts of your regiment that involve running for a while, icing down whatever parts feel the worst. Once you're feeling a bit better, make sure that while you're running you're keeping your stride relatively short and landing mid-foot (running on your toes will strain your calves, and running on your heels will strain your shins and the bottoms of your feet). Also, as you've no doubt been made aware, make sure to be wearing shoes (or, more specifically, soles) that support your feet's arches.

Running is horrible for your joints, if you do it with proper form or not. Pick up a better, low impact cardio exercise like Rowing or swiming or biking and save yourself some pain/frustration in the future.
