Project MTech Support Thread, I need harddrive help
An old 250gb harddrive I salvaged from a dead laptop for use of storing and loading isos has stopped working
It has a melee iso on it, but it stopped working so I could never retrieve it, but I have yet to be able to get a new working melee iso
plus it has other isos I want on it instead of having to torrent legally acquire them again
Anyway, the harddrive is clicking, which I read is bad news but not unsalvageable in terms of data
I looked up a video to open it, but the guys harddrive in question had screw holes. Mine has...? it looks like they forgot the screw part of the holes, there is no place for a screw driver to actually grip and pull what I assume are the screws out
do some harddrives just require you to pull off the lid, without actually unscrewing anything? I don't want to try and risk breaking it without knowing first
