Any specific reasons?also kof kind of sucks
In July. Now if you're talking about the main stage/lineup though... I'm afraid I got some bad news.Iskullgirls at evo when
Nashun is a socal MarioSparkingZero and Milkman are the only names I recognize in my pool.
No, actually - I've just never really taken a shine to it. I should have just said I didn't like it, instead of saying it sucks.Any specific reasons?
Alright, that's cool. No, actually - I've just never really taken a shine to it. I should have just said I didn't like it, instead of saying it sucks.
Don't forget about the first place prize money.for no other reason than their own fleeting moment of victory
I don't feel like that's how fighting games work but then again I'm not a sociopatha genre based entirely around oppressing and mentally dominating your opponent
Then, how does fighting games works?I don't feel like that's how fighting games work but then again I'm not a sociopath
I was about to ask the same thing because aside from execution/muscle memory/twitch reflexes, fighting games are pretty cerebral in and of themselves, with more than just a little bit of psychology in its methods. Then, how does fighting games works?
I camp when theres no money on the line, I have no shame. My strategie in smash 4 now is to circle camp with sonic all game, stalling with jiggs didnt work for meIf several thousand dollars were on the line, and all that stood between me and that money was to camp like there was no tomorrow, I'd do it.
Hell even for a couple hundred.
But I also set fires a lot as a child.
Fighting games are about understanding your options, your opponents options and how they interact. Like most competitive games or sports, it boils down to knowing what to do and when to do it - with fighting games in particular, there's a heavy focus on both mechanical execution of various abilities and having the reflexes to quickly (and intelligently) respond to what's happening in the game. Then, how does fighting games works?
yeah but how else do you play banana techchase until you fail runaway banana (edit) the characterI camp when theres no money on the line, I have no shame. My strategie in smash 4 now is to circle camp with sonic all game, stalling with jiggs didnt work for me
I know you mean smash 4, but you pretty much described how I play PM tooyeah but how else do you play banana techchase until you fail runaway banana
if you don't consider "I intend to control people to do the things I want" to mental oppression then I don't know which terms of sociology you've been looking upI would not liken trying to control you and your opponent's options throughout the course of the game to oppression
You're not controlling people - a good player considers all of the options and reacts accordingly, including things that they can do and things that their opponent can do. That you have the ability, in fighting games, to do things that may make your opponent choose to do something that's actually favorable for you is not the same thing as emotionally manipulating a person into feeling as though they have to act a certain way or else face negative consequences.if you don't consider "I intend to control people to do the things I want" to mental oppression then I don't know which terms of sociology you've been looking up
Oppression is a real thing that actually causes real suffering for people around the world every day - I'm offended that you would claim that your use of the word in a discussion about a piece of recreational entertainment is rooted in "sociology", as though that somehow justifies your lax usage of a word. Honestly, I thought you were smarter than this.I'm incredibly offended that I need to explain basic games psychology to you right now, quite honestly
dude you're some straight white boy that read up tumblr once, how the hell do you get to talk down to someone that's actually been through this beforeOppression is a real thing that actually causes real suffering for people around the world every day - I'm offended that you would claim that your use of the word in a discussion about a piece of recreational entertainment is rooted in "sociology", as though that somehow justifies your lax usage of a word. I'm a bisexual black man, actually.dude you're some straight white boy
you must have a lot of friends, huhLetting other people dictate your actions based on how your actions make them subjectively "feel" is unhealthy
yeah you know that, that's not a half bad idea, I'll follow suit methinksSorry bleck I can't read your post because ignore so lol that's all the attention you'll get outta me.
Nario was going in hard, he only camped when he had the lead to that ADHD would actually confront him in a position favorable to him.If that were the case, then yes - but it's not, so? The problem with that match isn't so much that the Villager is somehow overpowered so much as it was that both of those players were campy ****lords. I don't think that makes Smash 4 a bad game - I think those players just suck.
Do you want to be one of them <3you must have a lot of friends, huh
I'm sure your life in the most expensive, most liveable city in North America has been very, very difficult.I was making small-talk but now you're flat-out denying the **** I've been through
its all goodMy b. I didn't see "nearly"
I enjoy our discussions because bleck and I are actually the same person.congrats bleck
i think youve annoyed nearly everyone whos had a discussion with you
Hey, you are lucky that we even exist. Life manifested in the earth and evolution gave you civilization. Then there is the fact that you get to exist in particular. In a relatively excellent and in power modern society. With rights. And democracy.I'm sure your life in the most expensive, most liveable city in North America has been very, very difficult.
I've made it my goal to never ignore anyone unless its outright spam. Mechwarrior gets a bit preachy sometimes... I've gotten close.I'm kinda annoyed that people feel the need to announce when they've ignored someone. I don't care how sensitive/dismissive you are yo.
