like from what I've seen of it, it looks like "faster-paced dark souls" and while I'm 1000% down for that, I don't want to buy it assuming it's something it isn't

ehhh maybe it's just personal preference but I just realllllly don't like these two
D1 is kinda washed up nowadays and frankly sucks outside of certain moments
prog is good

for pm specific I don't even know but whenever I tune into chicago streams they seem to be good

best commentator for me is honestly toph

The PC port of Dark Souls is pretty poorly optimized - even with a really powerful PC, you won't be getting super smooth 60fps. That being said, as long as you've got a reasonable powerful CPU (at least 2ghz, preferably dual-core) and 2gb of RAM, you should be golden. That being said, your mileage may vary just 'cause of the laptop element.

the issue with the tloc guys is that rather than simply pointing things out and talking about the game they ALWAYS ADD IN INTERJECTIONS

for example luck just waited out bowswer being in shield before attacking, something relatively minor
I commentate a little in my own small scene and I would have just said something about it but no the tloc guys go

and I feel like they spend way too much time yelling about things that are relatively minor making their commentary a. annoying b. not really saying much with the amount of words they use c. manufacturing false hype which is really obnoxious (this is the reason why tkbreezy is bad and why d1 has become bad, they feel the need to be the "hype guys" and end up doing nothing and d. they just occasionally yell about things that are kind of funny like ballons or bananas ending up in weird places after the game like I understand that those things are interesting but you don't need to yell about them when there's actual gameplay going on

I'm not really a fan of them either, they try too hard to be the pm duo.

They either go too in depth about minor interactions or they get super hyped up about meh plays. The gotta stop tryna be ee and tk breezy 2.0.

their analogies are terrible and unfunny but yet they always seem to be yelling them and repeating them the most

like earlier they kept talking about butter and high cholesterol for no apparent reason and it didn't get any funnier as the set went on and the phrase "high cholesterol punish" isn't even funny

I wish people wanted to be more like prog/d1 than they were TK/EE

TK/EE are one of a kind, and it's super obvious when others try to ape them. when you work off of how prog and d1 commentate, with quick play-by-play in between great deals of knowledge, you're given much more to shape into your own "style", comedic or otherwise, which is far more important than "be as funny as you can RIGHT NOW"

actually, "don't force things" is much better short-form advice, when you think about it. don't make what happens out to be any more than it already is, the game contains its hype/hilarious/soul-wrenching moments quite well on its own, what you need to do is explain why it was what it was
