I'm sorry, but it's very hard to focus on your advice (which was helpful, I mean it) when everyone else is violently kicking me on the ground because I'm a noob.

During this animation, what can you do?
Or are you unable to act during this animation?

You can: cancel into another dash, jump, shield, spotdodge (you'll slide while doing it but you have more lag than normal), or do a special. You can't do a normal. It's VERY short though.

we all gave you immediate resonable responses lol, I don't see how saying "no dashing is very non-commital, you can just dash again out of a dash, or press down out of a run, as well as these other options that are a bit harder" can be interpreted into "you have to be this tall on the technicality chart or you should get out"

But moving on from that: was it really necessary to be so rude to me? I wondered why Smash had a dashing mechanic unlike traditional fighters, and why we need wavedashing to compensate for what dashing cannot do. I just...did you really have to be so rude to me?
