Anti-vaccination doesn't make any sense; there's no credible source that links vaccines to causing autism, and even if there was a chance of developing autism, some parents would rather let their child suffer through a nasty disease that can cause lifelong brain damage, deafness, and even death.


I found this, though. Thankfully the woman didn't go through with the measles party as far as we know.

I mean, a million years from now humans that are genetically predisposed to vaccinate / the people who don't perpetuate a tradition of not getting vaccinated should be the majority in the gene pool.

Lots of objectively bad stuff gets popular, just look around. Twilight, generic fps 274, country music, Sm4sh, the list goes on.

Funny story, Medical professionals are required to have updated flu vaccinations, because they do work, they even build static resistance to strains not directly immunized against and have, near-single-handedly, reduced the exposure of high-risk patients to the virus. (funny side note the flu is one of the leading causes of death in infants and elderly, who are also statistically more likely to have high-exposure to health-care professionals, haha weird.)
Also freedom of choice is fine, but those who are not vaccinated are narcissistically putting everyone they or their children ever come into contact with at risk of diseases that left trails of disabled and dead in their wake, bluntly put if you don't want to get vaccinated you should: Be banned from public transportation and schools, restricted to non-vac flights or cruises, be forced to carry and present an ID showing you are unvaccinated to business owners who would then have the right to deny any and all services (including urgent care and hospitals), should be required to pay additional fee's for private meeting with officials concerning government or tax affairs including any form of summons or leasing, no government positions, no public relations positions, and of course mandatory masks and gloves at all times (even though this didn't really even work against something as comparatively mild as SARS).

Tldr **** what some people think is a right to choose, something that effects everyone you EVER come into contact with in a potentially lethal, or crippling way, should not be a choice.

there are a lot of different flu strains; when you get the flu even after getting a flu shot, it's probably because you've been infected with a different (less dangerous) strain
