You enter Wait immediately while you flip around, that doesn't even need to be shown since you can cancel it immediately.

Basically anything where the apex of your jump will put you in landing immediately after.
Two examples shown include Sheik SH on PS1 platforms and Marth quick DJ onto DL64 platforms.

Meeting is over and done, figured I'd give you guys an update:

So all things considered, the meeting went really well! The director of Student Involvement was very positive about holding a tournament at my university, but since stuff gets booked up really quickly (since, y'know, it's a university), they weren't sure if we'd get a big space for the monthly (which is on the 28th, so, short notice).

So, I tell the tournament organizer this, that it's possible we can get a 500-man venue at some point, just not necessarily this month, and then hopefully something smaller will be available this month. I tell him, y'know, the worst case scenario is out of the way: the people in charge are all for the idea, they're not just shutting us down. ...and he just says, "alright, well when will you know? Because MY worst case scenario is I don't find a venue and have to cancel this month."

...*****, please. I am a 20-year-old kid with a brand-new smash club that has $9 in funds, who is searching for a venue for you for free after being asked barely a month before the tournament day. I am THIS close to finding you a FREE venue for HALF A THOUSAND ****ING PEOPLE, and THAT is what you say to me?

So yeah, not putting much effort into getting him anything too big - he'll probably get a 200 man venue and that's it.

But, now I've got channels of communication open for that 500-man space... That's a venue big enough for a regional, and since the venue is free, that also means that the venue fees are gonna add up and allow me to get more future venues - hopefully enough to enable me to start a quarterly regional in the Midwest. In a way that's all mad speculation, but it's all very possible - if I can get the space, I have the time and manpower working with me to get it done.


So, I'm gonna start my own tournament series.

With blackjack, and hookers.
