that feel when you find a set of equipment in an rpg that's better than the set you have after you've dropped a ridiculous amount of time and money on the set you currently on.

Now when you say find, do you mean you obtained it, or you found out that it's better than the one you have.

If the latter, then I know that feel very recently.

Both...?

While spending 4-5 hours researching and doing some gear-related quests and blacksmithing for Luxure (your avatar), I realized that this same set of gear and similar weaponary would also be better suited for my main character.

g2g on Smash 4 setups for my weeklies. Just purchased the last two adapters we need.

I have a question for you all that run stuff. If I plan on swapping out between games like PM and Melee, should I get vanilla Wiis for both or should I invest in separate consoles for their respective games?

I ask because I keep hearing rumblings from Smashers that Wiis are "lousy Gamecube emulators." I really, really wanna support both Melee and Project M (especially the latter) in my area, not just one or the other.

I would suggest just using a cube for Melee and a wii for PM. Then just use a switchbox so you can easily switch stream sources from one system to the other without having to swap discs and such. It would also make it easy to distinguish which system has what game compared to using 2 wiis, you might forget which one is PM and which is melee.

"feel like i could do better but my nerves get the best of me.. whoever pandapanda is im sorry i know youre a good player but i honestly feel i could of taken that game lol but above all GG"

That tournament yesterday was hella fun. I have like a fan club now and they follow me around and ask me for advice. But literally every single time there are at least 3 people who say that they should have won or that they would have beaten me or whatever. But the thing about me is that I'm clutch as **** and I never get nervous. Never. I don't care if they have a lead I'm calm enough to bring it back.

I just keep hearing that playing Melee on a Wii has a couple of problems, namely input delay (native to the emulating software on the console itself, not the TVs they're on).

People have found ways to get Melee to run with even less lag than a GC on PCs, eventually that's going to be the new meta....

when everyone's rich anyways. Can't wait to get my uber gaming desktop this year and see what the HD P:M/Melee buzz is like.

I may not have a uber gaming laptop (yes, laptop) but playing PM in 60fps, HD is amazing.

Assuming you don't get random frame drops >_>

On the topic of sleep, has anyone advice against being tired all day? I have this for multiple years now (and it is not about not actually sleeping enough).

My laptop is the epitome of Mid-tier but I still like it, just getting a desktop because I can squeeze more power out of it and do certain things on there, really. Laptop will still be my go-to for stuff like streaming and things that I do, but yeah I can't wait to see HD P:M/Melee, my only issue is how to mod P:M and run it through Dolphin since I do a lot of modding =P

Depends. Do you have a copy of brawl? If you do, it is possible to extract the ISO from that disc and use that with the 3.5 ISO builder and make the PM iso that way.
Or you could use that virtual SD card on Dolphin and load PM via the stage builder thing in Brawl.

I wonder, if you can use Virtual SD card could you theoretically do that with the homebrew channel, too? LOL @ homebrewing a Dolphin emulator

People could have melee/pm hd if they would just play on a 1ms monitor with a hdmi adapter already

I kept bloody telling people CRT's technically have lag, nobody listened, honestly giggled maniacally while reading the raw hertz data. (No I didn't, but I did get a kick out of it)

Also @ sleep, you could be skipping rem cycles or a thousand other things: try different beds, b complex vitamins, amino complexs', molybdenum, you may not be getting enough exercise or not eating well. Stress or Chronic Fatigue syndrome alongside a ton of other things could do it. Go see a doctor if it's getting in the way of everyday life, otherwise there's alot of information on the web that you should check out regardless of whether you make an appointment with a professional or not.

Nah i don't care about them I just find it kinda funny. Like when I'm playing someone and I know that I'm way better then them it's hard to try my best, so usually it ends up kinda close and people think that they almost won, when in reality It wasn't close at all and I was just sandbagging.

I get nervous in tourney a lot.

The result is always, after I lose game 1 as Olimar, go Marth and brainlessly fair and f-smash.

...It never works.
