I had a dream last night that I killed a former friend who had wronged me and I suffered in low security prison in a long and drawn out manner for the rest of my life until I killed myself.
. . .
Yeah, I was glad to wake up not in prison.

Why the hell is sudden death not the way to decide a match in Smash 4??? I'm making that rule for #ceo2015.

The defensive options are literally that strong.I just wanna point out something real quick:
in melee/PM, you get two minutes per-stock, at four stocks in eight minutes. in brawl, you get two minutes and twenty seconds, at 3 stocks in eight minutes.
SSB4 gets three minutes per stock, for two stocks. this is the biggest gap in any smash ruleset, ever.
and timeouts are still common.
how
I imagine because players would probably be more inclined to take risks in addition to having more time to adapt to playstyles. A huge part of the problem is the complete lack of risk taking.Melee top 8 is probably not on for another hour. Meanwhile I'm loving the smash 4 salt in the chat
Also, recent data shows that the 2-stock format encourages time-outs more than 3-stock. Stocks last 10-15 seconds shorter on average in 3-stock format. Pretty weird, huh?
Because a zoner vs a zoner will obviously end in a not campy match.I just wanna point out something real quick:

the campiest of campy characters in melee only create timeouts in the absolute worst-case scenariosBecause a zoner vs a zoner will obviously end in a not campy match.
Every other match in the top 8 other than Rosalina vs Pacman has been a lot faster.
It isn't a Nintendo announcement. I don't know where people got this idea, but nowhere was it mentioned that the scheduled announcement be anything related to Nintendo. At this rate, factoring in the Nintendo announcement...?

This was worst case scenario though.the campiest of campy characters in melee only create timeouts in the absolute worst-case scenarios
even jigglypuff/ylink, one of the most infamous top-player MUs of all time, has only timed out once, and the person who was forcing the timeout got screwed for his troubles
EVEN BRAWL DOES NOT TIME OUT AS OFTEN. EVEN BRAWL
Wasn't it just that one match that timed out a lot though? I wasn't following Sm4sh, so I could be wrong.the campiest of campy characters in melee only create timeouts in the absolute worst-case scenarios
