Princeton Smashfest 2: June 7th

Since I see nothing going on in NJ this weekend, I'll host another small event. If something close to central NJ is going on this date, please let me know so I can cancel this.

Call Inui at 732-829-1805 for directions, questions, etc. You might need to call to know where the room is or something, too.


-Sign-ups will begin at 11:00am. Teams sign-ups can be extended to 1:00pm if people are late, but no later. Singles will begin immediately after teams.
-Teams will be $5 per person, and singles will be $10 per person. 60/30/10 will be the payout for singles, 70/30 will be the payout for teams.


Rules

-All sets are 2/3 with finals being 3/5.
-3 stock, 7 minutes.
-All items are OFF.
-Ties will be broken by percent. If the percent is the same or both players die at the same time, a 1 stock, 2 minute match is to played on the same stage with the same characters to break the tie.
-A stage may only be played once per set.
-You may ban one neutral stage per set or two counterpick stages.
-Loser picks stage, winner picks character, loser picks character.
-All standing infinites are banned.
-Only Gamecube controllers are allowed.
-You may play on a banned stage if both players agree to it.

Counterpicks:
-Castle Siege
-Pokemon Stadium
-Delfino Plaza
-Brinstar

-Frigate Orpheon

You can play anyways. I'm sure Steve will come and play Melee with you.

I'm teaming with Brandon because he wants to be a static team. He travels, and you don't, so it's more beneficial for me to work well with him than with you. Sorry, Kashif. I'll definitely team with you if he's not there, though.

I team with different people a lot, and I did so in Melee, too.

It's only 5 dollars. You can team with YEHS since he might be coming. Atomsk will probably be with Lord Knight. Dave enters teams all the time without a consistent partner, although Dave + DGMavn might be the new cool thing for them. :p

Except me. I get to team with one of top Meta Knight players all the time. And that can mean Kashif or Brandon, lol.

It will probably be for the whole day. I have three TVs not counting ones I can just get from somewhere else. We won't need that many set-ups for Brawl.

lol, it would be awesome if you didn't enter, though. One less h4x player to worry about. >_>;

My sister gets home from Cali this weekend and may or may not demand that I bring the Wii home. Otherwise I'll be there with "DGMavn will win with a Lvl. 9 Game&Watch". Or maybe Dave; he's pretty cool.

James are you coming to this? LK has an AH2 tournament so unless you're going to come with a Melee setup I lose tons of incentive to come.

Where exactly did you get grandfather? Wouldn't father be more fitting? >_>

Wouldn't Ken be the grandfather since he laid the ground work for Melee Marth and alot of those tactics laid a basic foundation for Brawl Marth?

@BeBop: Try to make it a little earlier and you'll be fine for singles.

@teh_spamerer: I think you'll just lose to me again because it's BAAAAWWWWL and you'll trip into my tippers. :)

I was worried that if I capitalized the v it would switch my post to having every letter at the start of each word capitalized and everything else lower cased.
