Pokemon Sword & Shield Showcases New Gigantamax Forms

Today, Gigantamax Charizard, Eevee, Meowth, and Pikachu were showcased in the newest issue of CoroCoro. Now, a video presentation shows these Pokemon Sword and Shield Gigantamax Pokemon in action. Many new forms were shown, including a special Meowth that will be a purchase bonus for people who buy the game by January 15, 2020. To get the Gigantamax Pikachu and Eevee, players will need to have save data of Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! (respectively).

Pokemon Sword and Shield will be released on the Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019.

Author's Note: What do you think? Excited for any of these? Personally, I'm really excited for Gigantamax Meowth and Pikachu.

Honestly just nice to see Meowth get the same 'mascot' status that Pikachu and Eevee got here.

Is nice, ya know? He's always been a major character in the anime but that's not really reflected in the games with Puff being picked over him for Smash 64, no major importance in any mainline game until maybe Sun and Moon's era and doesn't appear in any context in Pokken.

More Meowth plz.

Yes! This!

I hope The Pokémon Company continues giving Meowth the same star treatment that Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Eevee, and Lucario have been receiving for years.

You might like your Kaiju Charizard, Chunkachu, Peev’doffvee, and Looooong Meowth but the three listed are behind pay walls that are only unlocked if you have Let’s Go games and get the game before a certain date.
