If one card is in Yugi's hand Slipher has 1000 Attack and 1000 Defense, not 1000 Attack and 0 Defense or vice versa. Likewise, if one card is in Yugi's hand Slipher has 1000 / 1000 / 1000 / 1000 / 1000 / 1000 base stats all-around, not just in one stat.
