Pokémon Trainer and his/her Squirtle and Ivysaur Not Good Fits for Smash?

Do you think that a Pokémon Trainer and his Squirtle and Ivysaur are good fits enough to actually become playable fighters for Smash? Why?

I very much like having Pokemon Trainer as is, thank you.

Ivysaur is one of the most unique picks on the roster (well, at least out of the ones who don't rely on a gimmick) and Squirtle is a scrappy lil' guy who's fun to control.

They and Zard all come together to make a very fun and well rounded team.

Honestly I think Charizard is the most lame of the trainer Pokémon. I don't wanna be a cool dragon, I wanna be a dumb baby turtle with a spitting problem. Stop forcing me to play Charizard every time I get KO'd.

Personally, I would’ve preferred Totodile and Grovyle and Charizard for the sake of more variety across generations.
