1. Depends on the anime, you can't keep pokemon and naruto anime in the same league as other more violent ones.
2. Social life decreases.
3. It's just another show like any other cartoon, I don't see what would be so bad about anime.
4. The government should censor anime as much as they should censor family guy... which they shouldn't.

Sex: Not with you.
Age: Over 18 please.

I'm sorry, but who thought of this issue?

1. Is anime too violent and sexual for young teens?
not all anime is, only a select few given the adult rating

2. Are there positive aspects of watching anime?
entertainment of course, and anime is a potential market to make money in

3. Do the positives out weight the negatives?
being that the only negative is stupid people blaming their actions on it, yes they do

4. Should the government censor anime?
if they do, they should also censor a violent cartoon known as 'loony toons', this is anime without blood

1. Depends. I wouldn't want my little cousins watching something like Bible Black, but not all anime is bad.
2. Of course.
3. Probably, but this question is very broad. I'll stick with yes for now.
4. Depends on the target audience. I dont think it would be proper for an anime aimed at little kids to suddenly explode with an orgy. That would be funny for us, but horrible for them.

Your survey is rubbish. I shall write you a new one. Remember: No Balls, No Glory.
- - - - - -

1. Are you familiar with the schmoo?
2. Would you go anywhere without a reservation?
3. If the proom regulars crash-landed, LOST-style, on a desert Island, who'd be the first to whip up a swiss family robinson-style treehouse?
4. If you were a chublet what colour would you be?

That's why people were born before 1960 have no creativity.

It's amazing that Shakespeare's plays seem so good despite their total lack of imagination.

I, man, am regal; a German am I.
Your survey is too vague.

1. Is anime too violent and sexual for young teens?

Depends on the anime.

2. Are there positive aspects of watching anime?

Yes, just as there are positive aspects to everything. Dismembering your neighbours with a chainsaw has many negative aspects, but it also help you learn how to properly handle a chainsaw when cutting through tough materials, such as bone.

3. Do the positives out weight the negatives?
Depends on the anime.

4. Should the government censor anime?

Depends on the medium presented. Daytime tv? FCC's got you covered.

The survey isn't supposed to be precise. I just need a basic demographic and their general opinions.

Basically it's to fulfill a grade. Need to Interview or Survey someone or a group.

1. There are animes that are sexual and violent but there are also many that are not, so I think it's really about avoiding certain types of anime.

2. I think the only positive aspect of watching anime is entertainment.

3. No I don't think the postives outweigh the negatives because so much can go wrong with watching anime, while I don't think anything harmful can happen by avoiding it.

4. No way! The government shouldn't touch anime at all. The only situation where that would be applicable would be if all anime was hentai and hardcore violence. There are many different kinds of anime aside from hentai and extremely violent ones.

I LOVE Mic128's survey answers lol. Im actually gonna heko u with the assignments though it depends is a great answer. Also no girls are posting lolz.

1.No its not as long as u r watching the right ones. And it depends what they r looking for. If u have ever heard of Ichigo 100% its classifeid mayn ways, but the best way imo would be ecchi, romance, comedy. I look at the whole story, not the sex parts (though even those r funny). If the kids r not looking for like hardcore hentai, then there is nothing wrong with it.
2. A) Entertainment
B) If u were watching pokemon, u can learn that pikachu is hardcore porn lolz. But seriously other than learning a couple of tiny life lessons from anime thats more Real life than cartoon... not really.
3. Depends on the anime, and like #1...what the kids are looking for. Sometimes they do, but as usal people who say negative out weighs positive are gonna be more negative on the outlook, while people who say positive either watch anime, or r optimists.
4. Considering the worst anime that comes on besides adult swim which outlines the fact that its M rated by calling ADULT swim, is naruto in terms of violence...no. Not unless its hardcore hentai.

1. Is anime too violent and sexual for young teens?

I think the world is too violent and sexual for young teens but no, let's talk about anime. That'll solve the world's problems. To answer, it depends on the anime but I think the view should be more focused on reality rather than a stupid show.

2. Are there positive aspects of watching anime?

Depends on the anime. With pokemon there is marketing and with Oudan High School you can come out of the closet...

3. Do the positives out weight the negatives?

Sure...

4. Should the government censor anime?

I believe the government should censor everything and get it over with. Let's go communist, baby!

Sex: Yes please.
Age: Around my age. I'm not interested in an older girl and if she was too young, that'd be pedoish...

1. Completely depends on the show in question. Some of it, yes. Some of it, no. It's not a style where you can blanket a response like that
2. No more positives then any other show
3. What a terrible question
4. Depends on the show in question

1. Mostly no, with some exceptions. Depends on how young you mean as well.
2. Yeah, I've made a lot of friends through anime.
3. Well, I don't see too many negatives, so yes.
4. No more than they censor games or movies. Shouldn't need to overdo it.

1. As a whole, no.
2. Yes (I've learned things from watching animes).
3. Probably not (Pointless violence and otherwise pointless activities which time could be better spent.)
4. No.

Also, anime is only the Japanese cartoons you see on TV or on YouTube. Therefore you can't include everything else... although Japanese anime is still very very broad.

1. Most animes are pretty well suited for teens, young or old. Some animes are more intelligent than others, so they match certain people in that age group.

2. The positives of animes is that they can be compared to movies. Some of them are legendary, some of them are kookie, some of them suck. Some of them send a good message, some make you feel good, some make you depressed. The legendary ones have the potential of being awesome, deeply philosophical, or funny (maybe).

3. The positives surely out-weigh the negatives, the hardest part is getting someone to sit through an entire series worth of episodes. Once someone watches an anime in completion, they're usually thankful that they did (I've seen it happen).

4. The government shouldn't touch animes. Animes don't swear much, and when they do, they usually fix it when they dub it over to English. There may be some partial nudity in animes, but it's usually nothing more than a stray butt-crack. Most adult animes that show full frontal nudity don't make it to cable TV.

Thanks to everyone who replied seriously.

To all who didn't you made me laugh so still a good thing. =P

I know it's a bad survey but all I really needed was a certain demographics general feelings on anime so it served its purpose.
