For effects, each character is given a file that is loaded when they are selected - this file will hold effects that are unique to that character. So you can only use effects that are native to the character you're modifying. There is, however, a global library that holds many of the basic effects that you can call from with any character.

and by the way, if phoenix mario uses a bunch of fireballs on a wall, once someone hits that, they receive damage for all of those fireballs. you can also set traps by doing this.

no, its more like a character effect in that it changes the character, but it changes the entire character and the individual textures are still usable. so, no, not a true clone.Wait it's tied to a PAC? As in a costume? Basically, it's a true clone?
True. But if you test a piled one, it only does 25% (5 fireballs' worth). Also, if you go around a custom level and put one for each corner, they'll start disappearing at the 6th ball.well, its hard to notice when you pile them up

etc. and you drag and drop or click? that would be sweet!

Ah, do they know how to go about doing such a thing yet? In other words, is the project far along yet?Separate icon on the character select screen, letting you play "Marth," but with all of Roy's attributes.
That way, you could play as both Marth and Roy.
