Hot dang friend, that art is amazing!Anyhow, like I probably mentioned before, I'm gonna stream MOTHER 3 with a friend. We always draw splash pages for the streams, so I figured I'd share it with you people:
We're better at drawing than vidya.
That's amazing! What program did you use?Anyhow, like I probably mentioned before, I'm gonna stream MOTHER 3 with a friend. We always draw splash pages for the streams, so I figured I'd share it with you people:

Paint Tool SAI with a Wacom Intuos 5.That's amazing! What program did you use?
Sweet art man! Love the toony feel to it, honestly. I presume your avatar is your art as well?Anyhow, like I probably mentioned before, I'm gonna stream MOTHER 3 with a friend. We always draw splash pages for the streams, so I figured I'd share it with you people:

Yeah, I like to draw.Sweet art man! Love the toony feel to it, honestly. I presume your avatar is your art as well?
Diddy Kong/Duck Hunt Dog = Ice Climbers clone confirmed!Boney should be a Duck Hunt clone, with Salsa on his back
(tho most of the moveset would no longer make any sense, like the Up-B)
Amazing art dude! Gotta love their expressions.Anyhow, like I probably mentioned before, I'm gonna stream MOTHER 3 with a friend. We always draw splash pages for the streams, so I figured I'd share it with you people:
Whelp, you certainly do. Amazing!! Diggin' your OCs too, it'd be awesome to see ya hit it into the animation industry if you ever plan that.Yeah, I like to draw.
Ah nice! i like how you included boney's scarf, real cute. I should draw the M3 gang soon but been suffering from art block (ngl its Splatoon and Smash).Anyhow, like I probably mentioned before, I'm gonna stream MOTHER 3 with a friend. It's my goal, but it's tough. I live in a country that has no animation industry and very few, sub-par animation schools. I'll probably have to leave the country if I want to pursuit that.Whelp, you certainly do. Amazing!! Diggin' your OCs too, it'd be awesome to see ya hit it into the animation industry if you ever plan that.
I can only imagine that last part... my sis has to deal with same (she's also an artist). But hey, perhaps you'll hit a road somewhere bigger where you can really enchance your skills! It's my goal, but it's tough. I live in a country that has no animation industry and very few, sub-par animation schools. I'll probably have to leave the country if I want to pursuit that.
Which I will, starting August I'll take a drawing course in Denmark to get a presentable portfolio, so I can apply to animation universities. I'm pretty much blowing my entire budget on that.
To afford this I had to draw commissioned things I hate myself for. No, I'm not talking porn, I'm talking horrid character designs.
Dang, that's good.
That's so cute =)On the topic of Mother 3 art my friend's lucas palette draw (X)
Eh, I suppose as long as you didn't undercharge yourself for commissioning those would be okay. I hope you'll be able to make ends meet! Creating comics and getting backers from Patreon (albeit having to provide perks and what not possibly) is a good way that I've noticed indepedent artists have been able to support/sustain themselves while doing such projects. I hate seeing artists struggling financially. It's my goal, but it's tough. I live in a country that has no animation industry and very few, sub-par animation schools. Well if you do make commissions you already have someone interested and I'll certainly try not to make you draw something bad. It's my goal, but it's tough. I have some connections and am doing commissions for this hotel place where rich people go.Eh, I suppose as long as you didn't undercharge yourself for commissioning those would be okay. Tip: If you apply for jobs, put freelance work under your resume. Commissions of course count as that but it looks good to employers because freelance work shows adaptability, meeting deadlines, good communication skills, good working one on one skills, etc. Even self projects are worth mentioning for "self initiation."
No crying until the end.Hoowwwww muuuch longeeeerrr....??
wow i was thinking it was just comissioning people online with bad character designs, but thats even worse. i see it now: plot armor a mile thick, everyone is flawless, the list goes on.I have some connections and am doing commissions for this hotel place where rich people go.
I draw horrendous characters doing nothing that can possibly be described as a "plot" and everything is happy and smiles (I held back tears when they told me the story ends with "it was all a dream"). It's disgusting, and those characters don't have real emotions.
But it pays well. I consider myself very lucky.
I feel filthy.
It's more that it's comics about this hotel mascot being nice to the children who visit the hotel.wow i was thinking it was just comissioning people online with bad character designs, but thats even worse. i see it now: plot armor a mile thick, everyone is flawless, the list goes on.
Im hoping for some Lucas's attacks to be able to pressure shields up close kind of like villager with his NAir and Jabs.Sooooo I really am hoping here that Rope Snake is going to help us deal with all the very potent shielding in this game. Hope the end lag is also not as long as Brawl's (which'll forces us to Pivot Grab instead).
But in general, just hopin' we have a good tether grab on our newly trained Snake Rope.
Wouldn't his down tilt be better for that?Im hoping for some Lucas's attacks to be able to pressure shields up close kind of like villager with his NAir and Jabs.
Well you should always start simple and get better as you go with the things you have before going to apply to that sort of career/hobby.It's my goal, but it's tough. I live in a country that has no animation industry and very few, sub-par animation schools. I'll probably have to leave the country if I want to pursuit that.

Lucas's or Villager's? I can sorta see Lucas's dtilt because it executes fast,Wouldn't his down tilt be better for that?
I was actually quite intrigued to hear about your career, as I am an aspiring animator myself. I think being able to utilize the limited connections you have despite being in a somewhat isolated area in that regard is really cool and goes to show how devoted you are. I'm personally a bit intimidated to get myself out there. So, enough of me, okay?
This. ^Is there someone seriously saying Dark Pit, Lucina and Dr.Mario take as much effort to make as Lucas and Wolf?
And Snake is a lost cause at this point.
That was really impressive man (saw your Reddit post on this first) and I definitely need to work on jab locking more for Mega Man for kill sets up like these too.Guys check out this epic comeback I had at a tourney!
