I think Pikachu's special moves should be changed in the next game.
1 b move thunderbolt instead of thunder jolt.
2 side b quick attack instead of skull bash.
3 down b iron tail instead of thunder.
4 up b should still be agility.
Final smash electro ball instead of volt tackle.
Volt tackle should be forward smash.

I should make it known now that there is only 1 chance of me not using Pikachu in the next smash. And that would be if Quote were in it.
I'd probably use both.

Pikacopter, but with the hits actually keeping them inside the move, leading into the final hit which is Pika 64 bair.

I will also second the need for a ketchup-based taunt. Let's have it replace the current up taunt.

And a proper wardrobe this go round, preferably with minimum of 2 costumes for each color a-la Wario. Holy crap. It's been 3 games so far and he's only ever gotten the minimum.

And less landing lag on aerials, please. Better yet. Less cooldown in general.

L canceling can stay dead. Just make all the moves lag less and you get the same effect without imposing hidden rules on the game.

Nah. It's a stupid thing that just ups the technical requirements to play the game for no reason except to make it harder.

It's an artificial difficulty inflation which is generally considered bad game design.

I can accept casting fireballs while wearing a wizard's hat, but now you're just being absolutely ridiculous. Applejack would make much more sense as a final smash. Pikachu loves ketchup (in the anime), which is made from tomatoes, which are just crappy-*** apples that grow on vines.

@Stealth: Back up there, buddy. I believe you're forgetting Pichu's goggle + scarf combo in Melee. I'll let it slide for now, just try not to do it again.

goggles is garbage, so is the scarf. i believe i have been over this issue many times in the past few years. it is garbage compared to the headband and cowboy hat, and even the party hat. all goggles need to be burnt to ashes in a nuclear fireball then thrown into the sun so that they are wiped from the universe forever

His down throw then for 1-2 frames looks like he's riding the throwee like a bull with 1 hand in the air.

Slow or fast, as long as the game can be played aggro even at brawl speeds i'll be happy.

The game will be more like Brawl than Melee, so says Sakurai.

He doesn't want there to be a huge skill cap that is created just by knowing advanced techs. Think about it...scrubs that know how to L-cancel/Wavedash are INFINITELY better than scrubs that don't know how to do either.

But yeah, what I want from Pika in the next game

64s D-smash. I would prefer that over 64 bair (SSB4 probably won't have too much hitstun and 64 bair was slow as ****, like as slow as current dair at least, but has a much shorter hitbox). a QA that doesn't super extend the hurtbox would be nice too...

A semi-kill throw would be nice.

I like this back air. 64 bair would be like fox's bair in brawl. It'd be okay, but personally I like brawl bair better. More knockback on uair for semi spikes would be nice. I think 64 fair would be tight lmao.

oh and QA not extending hit box's would be legit too lmao.

Skullbash needs some kind of defense bonus like in the Pokemon games. Give is super armor similar to Snake's upb maybe?

I'd like to see a better dash attack too.
