Step 1: Get the adblock extension for whatever browser you're using.
NOTE: This has the side-effect of preventing all of those annoying advertisements from showing up on your screen. If you want to keep these, then you cannot block annoying avatars.
Step 2: Right-click on whatever annoying avatar, picture, icon, etc... is causing the problem. Then click "adblock image" and make sure you are blocking the image itself and not the wildcard (*) option.
Step 3: Enjoy.

Still, my boards are very easy for users to cross between. I don't know why.

There's really nothing linking Sonic, Kirby, Fox, King Dedede, and Pikachu other than me. And yet I still see tons of crossover between those boards. >_>
