Ephy's pics are always amazing.

Hi Pikachus. Your chaingrab on Fox is really lame, I hope none of you actually do that in tourneys.

As a matter of fact I took pity and didn't cg one once.

Getting usmashed and killed at 85% was fun though.

I lost round 1.
Exactly. If Fox is gonna have that ****in usmash, I get my CG. He's a lil ***** without it.

bye quicken D:

I get most of my Fox KOs by being sexy, not by Upsmashing.

But why would I want Ganondorf's Dair banned o_o
Lucario's Dair, however...

Are you serious? LOL
Probably not. I'm rarely serious.

But seriously, Fox's Upsmash is probably not a programming error, like Pikachu's chaingrab probably is. :p

Lucario's Dair is annoying but nowhere near broken, I was joking about that lol.

Programming error?

You do realize that Brawl was made to be a party game, and therefore things like CGs and mortar sliding and all that crap shouldn't even have been discovered, right? It's what happens when a competitive community makes a casual game into serious business.

@Kaylo-Oh God not one of these.
These? I dunno what you mean.

I was just saying it's silly to say one thing belongs in competitive Brawl but another doesn't based on what might've been a "programming error." Because I doubt Sakurai really thought about stuff like CGs when he made the game.... since it wasn't meant for this. That's not me hating on Brawl, that's just the truth.

@Xiivi: Done. You're gonna **** me, I never played 3D before, lol.

I think that people underestimate Sakurai a little bit. I think Ice Climbers are a pretty good example of a CG that was purposely (seemingly, at least) put in the game. Yes, the players definitely "break" the game in finding glitches and unintended side effects of gameplay elements in the game, but I'd be willing to bet that more than people think was purposely put in the game.

@alt: I don't doubt that he knew at least some of it, but using it as an argument or basis for what should/shouldn't be in competitive play is dumb.

Also, I pretty much just typed that out so I could post another attachment, lol.

Smashboards is being dumb and not letting me download/view/open that file. >_>
Yeah, it did that to me with your last one.... I just kept clicking until it let me, lol.

And discussion ensues.

Hopefully not for long though.
I'm sorry His Majesty doesn't approve of our discussion.

You always have the option of, you know, not reading. God forbid we actually debate something on a forum.

True, there's no way to know what is and isn't intended by the programmers.

On a side note, trying to find a local venue for smashfests/tourneys is super frustrating =\
