Paris Hotel EVO2013

So guys Thank you all for donating and getting Melee to EVO 2013!
Now a group of friends are trying to figure out how we're going to do the Hotel.
The Paris Hotel reservations are 4 people per room and there is around 7 of us going. Would it be fine if we stay in one room or do we forcefully have to pay more for another room? :S

you can always pack rooms afaik as long as its not glaringly obvious. evo doesn't get the whole hotel right?

I don't see how hotels can ever really enforce this rule. They won't come into your room when you're sleeping, and if you're all awake then you could just claim that 3 of your friends are staying somewhere else. I doubt it would ever be a problem unless you're making a lot of noise or have such a ridiculous number of people in the room that it's a fire hazard. *shrug*

I recommend reserving at The Harrah! It's much cheaper and it's only a 10 minute walk to The Paris Hotel! As for keeping seven people in one room, don't make a mess! There is usually someone that goes into the room and changes the sheets and bathroom towels around noon! Don't leave your belongings and bags all over the place cause it just makes their jobs harder and they could make a complaint if they think there are too many people in one room!

Real talk: If you do this, bunk with people you can easily tell to shut up, quiet down, or sleep. Don't be put in a bad position because you have fantasies of a slumber party at EVO. When you wanna sleep, you'll wanna sleep.

If you're bringing 10, I would suggest getting 2 rooms. I know that at least 7 of my group are going and we're getting 2 rooms. Packing rooms is fun, but so is having extra space if you need it for stretching out or whatever. Plus, 10 people sharing a shower is a little much, imo. I guess you could just shower at the bellagio fountains, though

If you have a large 10+ person group or you can consolidate with another region's group to get to 10+ people, then I highly recommend getting two rooms and designating one as the quiet/sleep room and the other as the friendlies/up all night room. We did this kind of system with NC at Pound 4 and it served everyone's needs very well.
